The sanitary buildings are cleaned several times a day.NegativnoThe sanitary building at the entrance to the campsite is a bit outdated, but is always kept very clean! The entrance to the destination road in the village, as well as some bends on the campsite, are a bit narrow for large caravans. With enough care, however, it is still easy to manage.Great CP in a beautiful areaWe stayed for a good week in August 2024 with our dog and felt completely at home. Shortly before the campsite, you have to turn right and go around a large old tree. The residents have secured their plots with large stones. Getting around here undamaged with larger trailers is a bit of a challenge.
But now to... the pitch: registration is quick and uncomplicated. The lady who greeted us was very friendly and helpful. Registration is integrated into the small store, which has pretty much everything you need. You can pre-order bread rolls or just take the ones that are still available. Special mention: super tasty home-baked cake: large slice of cherry cake for €1.50, or meatballs / sausages with potato salad for €2!!! and that on a campsite!!! Simply great! Where else can you find such value for money?
The tourist pitches are spacious, but on a slight slope, so chocks are an absolute must. But there is a very nice view of the Schei. Very nice playgrounds, one for the very little ones and also something for the older ones.
For the dogs you can walk through the campsite, past the upper wash house, where you come to a farm track outside the campsite where you can go for a good walk.
The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated, but very clean. They are cleaned at 5am in the morning, so the normal operation is not disturbed.
It is about 20 minutes to Schleswig city center.
We were two adults with three dogs and a caravan. Both sanitary... blocks were very clean and practically furnished/designed.
In addition to food, the store also offered fresh cakes and one or two dishes.

The pitch with a view of the Schlei was very nice, also because I had a great view of the Schlei due to the row in front not being completely occupied. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is the place to be. There's no hustle and... bustle here. The surroundings are good for cycling (e-bike !!!! - if you have a Dutch bike with you - like me - it's bad) and hiking great.
The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful The camping store at the reception has a surprisingly good range - and very tasty bread rolls if ordered in advance. The sanitary facilities were always clean and there were plenty of them. But the showers are simply too narrow !!! 20 or 30 cm in length and width would have helped a lot!
WLAN is free, but only available at reception and in the lounge.

There is a large common room with games, WiFi and TV, a very well-stocked store with a bread roll service, a nice selection of grilled meat and home-baked cakes every day. A very beautiful sailing area, jetty and slip possibility... directly at the site. The very well-kept, always clean sanitary facilities, which are thoroughly cleaned every night, are completely adequate and throwing in shower tokens is somehow retro and therefore funny. The highlight for us as a family with two teenagers was the blues session on Saturday evening. It's also great that you can get to the best fish stall by ferry and on foot and a few hundred meters further on to a cosy coffee shop. The Viking settlement of Haitabu, Eckernförde and Schleswig are within easy reach for cultural activities. We would love to come back, if possible during the summer vacation.Аутоматски преведено.

Yes, the pitches are a bit uneven in places, the showers at the playground are a bit narrow and there are shower tokens - but none of that bothered us at all. The location was ideal, we had a direct view of the Schlei and no neighbors looking in. Despite the rainy weather, we felt comfortable on the beautifully laid out terraced pitch close to the very well-kept sanitary facilities. You can cycle short 15-30 km... and longer tours of 60-100 km a day and combine excursions with each other. Schleswig, Eckernförde, Kappeln and the Baltic Sea are within easy reach. The site offers small handicraft courses, canoe hire etc. The operators are very friendly, the small store is well stocked and you can spend a wonderful week there....we will definitely be back!!!Аутоматски преведено.

Well suited as a starting point to explore Kappeln, Schleswig, Eckernförde etc. We liked the pitch for us (opposite the playground right next to the wash house)... Certainly everything is sloping and you should have one or the other wedge / block with you,... but that belongs in the caravan anyway... The staff were super friendly and open to all questions. But what was really annoying were the showers (in the wash house near reception - we didn't use the other one)... These are quite small and cramped, so if you want to have dry clothes after showering, it's better to undress outside... And as the doors open inwards, as a person with a little more girth you only have the option of trudging backwards into the shower cubicle to open the door... then you either have wet feet again or there's dirt from your shoes in the shower tray... suboptimal. And something else for the creepy cabinet (but not included in the rating): Walking through the permanent camper areas reveals abysses in terms of garbage and cleanliness.... If I were the groundsman, I would have thrown some of them off the site - because these wrecks are really not an advertisement - not to mention the possible attraction of uninvited small rodents. But as long as you only stay on the lower tourist pitches, this site is highly recommendedАутоматски преведено.

Ferry nearby, absolute peace, youth groups are accommodated outside the campsite and do not disturb. You can walk your dog behind the site, of course with a bag.
