The site has pitches for caravans, tent pitches, houses (i.e. allotments) for rent
and leased plots for permanent campers.
The surroundings are beautiful and unspoiled, but this also means "no internet" and a poor telephone network.
Just perfect... for a relaxing weekend or more.
We rented two e-bikes for €12 a day and were able to cycle 30km without any problems,
which allowed us to get to know the heathland and the surrounding area.
The tank museum in Munster is also highly recommended.
I would like to mention one negative point: The fishing pond advertised by the campsite management does not contain any trout at all!
Believing this to be the case, I had taken my fishing equipment with me. On site, this turned out to be completely unnecessary and I felt I had been taken for a ride.
Please don't be fooled by the false promises on the internet as the pond contains neither trout nor pike or other tasty fish.

Very friendly staff, a small store with regional specialties (that's all you need) and courteous service. The pitches are large enough and beautifully situated. It is not overcrowded, so there is plenty... of space to relax. The small river Örtze, which runs through the site, provides refreshment for dogs and people. The restaurant is not part of the site, but offers very good regional food in the immediate vicinity. The newer sanitary building is sufficiently large, clean and modern. I rarely come back from vacation as relaxed as I did this time.
Lots of nature on and around the site (hiking and cycling with great destinations - in our time in the blooming heath and resinous smelling pine... forests - we were often out and about on the accessible sections of the Heidschnuckenweg - fabulously beautiful, as was the little village of Müden).
The site is a paradise for children and nature lovers!
Swimming in the swimming pond (tree swings and surfboards to have fun on), stream with pedal pool, playgrounds, woods and much more on site.
Lots of free space and only a few restrictions - for children and adults alike, yet lots of peace and quiet and a good atmosphere on the site - rarely experienced in such a great and relaxed way.
Very friendly and open-minded permanent campers, if you stay more than three nights, you will always be greeted and can have a chat here and there, which contributes a lot to the great atmosphere of the site.

Bread roll service (with late riser station ;-) )
Very friendly site operators.
Excellent value for money.
Sanitary - one very outdated, one newer - both always clean, here I would also like to mention the very friendly cleaning staff (and also - complaining on a high level - the very short shower intervals, a little more than 10 seconds would be desirable).
The restaurant at the front is a feast for the palate and the service was extremely friendly.

The main sanitary facilities are in a dark hole in the basement. In the ladies toilets there is hardly any room to get to the toilet because the cubicle is very small. All the pipes are exposed. In the washrooms, the... showers have been renovated, but with 4 showers it was only enough for 2 doors and the other two have a curtain. The drainage in the showers is so good that you stand in your shower water in the anteroom and this also runs into the entire washroom.
And then there's the restaurant, a station concourse has more atmosphere. I haven't sat in a restaurant with a linoleum floor from the 60s for a long time. The food was okay, the service was a bit haphazard. The salad for my meal only arrived shortly before I was ready. And unfortunately they didn't manage to serve both meals at the same time for 2 people. Ideal for dogsWe stayed at the campsite in September for the first but certainly not the last time with 2 adults and 2 dogs. The site itself is divided into the so-called upper and lower part. The whole site is characterized by seasonal and permanent campers. In contrast to other experiences and campsites, they are... all very nice and friendly. The two parts of the site are separated by the small Örtze river. Certainly ideal for children to play in summer. Our pitch was in the upper part and sensationally large. The pitches are separated by hedges and apple trees. It is also very positive to note that there are drainage options for gray water on two sides of the pitch, so you are very free to set up your camper van and awning. From here, various paths (approx. 20 meters) lead directly out onto the fields and a small forest. A sanitary building is also only a few meters away. The sanitary facilities were always in a very clean and tidy condition. Even when it rained, the floor was always kept clean. The toilet cubicles and showers are spacious. The Cohrs family who run the campsite give a very calm and hectic-free impression. There was always time for a chat, good tips for excursions and information. Everything is very quiet from the moment you arrive. You are given plenty of information about the site, walking routes for the dogs and a packet of food to welcome your furry friends. Overall, the entire site is extremely dog-friendly. We were unable to use the bathing lake, which was also available, due to the temperature. It was already too fresh for us at this time of year. There is a small shop in reception where you can get the essentials at affordable prices. We made use of the bread roll service on offer. There is nothing to say about two normal bread rolls and 2 grain rolls for a total of € 1.50. There is an EDEKA supermarket about 5 km away in Faßberg. There are playgrounds for children, but the target group of 10 - 18 year olds will certainly not necessarily feel addressed in view of the location of the site outside and the existing tranquillity. There are plenty of heathland areas, forests and places of interest within a maximum distance of 15 km. Mr. Cohrs also has a nice hiking guide with interesting tips to borrow. Bicycle tours are also possible without end. During our stay, dogs were allowed to stay free of charge and a kilo of delicious heather potatoes were provided every day. The location is beautiful, dogs are welcome and there are various dog walks. We had caught the "dog weeks" and so the stay was free for our dog. The site itself is quite nice. It is located in beautiful surroundings in the Lüneburg Heath, so you can go hiking and do various things in the area. What bothered us, however, was that several canisters of mold remover were stored... in the wash house directly under the changing table. Of course, I don't leave my child unattended in the changing room either, but I find the storage of chemicals in a place where babies and small children spend time more than unfortunate. It was also very noisy on the pitch at night during our stay. A large group of several families had gathered in the square, apparently to celebrate a birthday or something similar. It was loud until late into the night and the night's rest was not respected at all. Loud music was played until three o'clock in the morning, making sleep unthinkable. They are biological agents from Awiwa and are completely non-toxic. We use these biological, pollutant-free cleaning agents for the entire cleaning process. As disturbances of the peace at night are the exception, we would like to apologize. It would have been great if you had mentioned this in the bill, we would have at least refunded the stay fee, which we would also be happy to offer for a repeat stay. This night, with little sleep, you would get free of charge as a replacement.

Bread rolls can be ordered. The baker even comes at 11:00 on Saturdays. Otherwise Fassberg is approx. 5 km or Munster 10 km away. Small swimming pond with two playgrounds.... There is also an inn on site with German home cooking. The Heide Park, the outlet, the bird park, the Snowdome, the tank museum, the Soltau thermal baths and the Serangetti Park are not far away. You can go horseback riding, cycling, hiking and much more. The sanitary facilities are clean. The maneuvers have slowed down a lot in recent years.
