"The name says it all - The site is in a village where there are a few houses. It is very quiet there and the place is really nice on the Wied. There is still some work to be done but we felt comfortable. Sanitary with the bathrooms great.

"Great for finding peace and quiet - Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. We had a pitch in the first row by the river - just a huge meadow (very well-kept!) in front of us, which was very nice. Sometimes a squirrel or even a deer runs in front of the awning. The sanitary facilities are containers, there are individual toilets and shower/washrooms which are very spacious and each have a shower, toilet and washbasin. There is also a children's bathroom, but we didn't use it. Depending on where you are, there are also toilet vans, because the walk to the wash house can be unpleasant with a full bladder. There are two snack vending machines, one with ice cream and one with various drinks and sweets. Of course, this is no substitute for the lack of a supermarket, but it is very practical for spontaneous cravings. All in all, it's a nice place for us without a lot of frills and fuss. Just the way we like it.

"Traveling with a child - Had booked this place spontaneously! Unfortunately my wife fell ill there and we had to leave early! On request to the operator whether he could accommodate us something, came only an empathieloses no. I thought it was a pity, the operator referred to an insurance where you could then handle it! There was no electricity at the back of the last toilet containers and therefore only emergency lighting (danger of tripping). I myself fell on the last evening, because the lighting on the path is partly defective (video available) and you really can't see anything! I told the operator this and he just shrugged his shoulders! On the subject of reimbursement via insurance, I have to say it doesn't work because the operator doesn't give you a confirmation of departure on the day of departure! Furthermore, the operator said: "You could have booked by the day!" It is also advertised that there is no aircraft noise, I can only contradict this. There are sports airplanes flying around all day. And that's not just a few! I also can't recommend the place for vacationers with children The sun only shines from midday onwards! So it is fresh and damp on the meadows in the morning hours

"The square lives up to its name! - We felt incredibly comfortable on this vacation. We were with our dog and tent on the Bulli pitch, whose location, solitude (in a positive sense!) and tranquillity are incomparable. It's a short walk from there to the toilet blocks when you're 'old'. We really liked the sanitary facilities, they really are something special! Basically, there are many complete bathrooms (washbasin, toilet, shower, bench, heating, window). There are covered outdoor washing areas between the bathrooms. On the Bulli pitch there is a guideline as to how the car and tent should be positioned (not bad, it worked, you were just a bit restricted, which is of course less of an issue with an actual Bulli). The ground probably swallows pegs quite easily, no matter where. We were lucky enough to be right on the edge of the pitch with an old dog and to be able to air it directly there. The disadvantage with an old dog is that the walk is basically over by the time you leave the campsite, where the actual paths start, because it's a very long way to get there. It is also difficult to start the walk directly from the Bulli site as it is very steeply uphill. We would choose the Bulliplatz again at any time.

"A great place, simply recommendable! - A beautiful and quiet place! We had our pitch right on the river (Wied). The sanitary facilities are very clean and were cleaned cleaned every day. Especially to mention, shower, sink and toilet in one room, "you do not have to hike" We will definitely be back!

The beautiful campsite, framed by the idyllic Wied River, is sure to delight every peace-seeking traveler—young or old. It is located in the romantic Wied Valley, in the heart of the Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park, not far from the great rivers …Rhine and Moselle. Nature right at your doorstep! With its uniquely tranquil location, this campsite is a paradise on earth, free from any noise and guaranteeing a truly relaxing holiday. Here, you can enjoy the pleasant chirping of birds and the calls of owls. This is a place where fox and hare still bid each other good night. Immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the nature park and breathe in the fresh air of this officially recognized health resort. Hiking and cycling trails start directly at the campsite. Hiking and cycling maps are available at the reception. For swimming, there is a nearby outdoor and indoor pool with a sauna. Numerous excursion opportunities await visitors of all ages, and further information is available at the reception. Options include city trips to Koblenz or Cologne, cold-water geysers, charming old towns like Linz, beautiful castles, climbing parks, children’s adventure parks, and much more. The campsite & holiday park is divided into two areas: park-like tourist pitches located directly by the Wied River, and permanent pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and weekend cottages. You can choose between sunny or shaded spots. All caravan and motorhome pitches are equipped with electricity (16A), fresh water, and sewage connections. There are also tent pitches on a beautifully located meadow with a "riverside feeling" and power outlets. The heated sanitary building offers showers, toilets, washing machines, dryers, a baby changing table, dishwashing facilities, and a chemical toilet disposal station. Gas bottles are available in sizes of 5, 11, and 33 kg. The campsite also provides Wi-Fi. Fresh bread rolls can be ordered daily, and ice cream, snacks, and drinks are available in the common room. Perfect for those seeking peace and nature lovers!

Directions: The campsite "Zum stillen Winkel" is in Niederbreitbach, Westerwald. From the A3 (exit Neustadt/Wied) or A48 (exit Bendorf), follow signs to Niederbreitbach. In Niederbreitbach, turn into Brunnenweg. The campsite is at the end of the road.
