Unfortunately no bread service during our travel time, because of renovation. It was only a few days in June. We liked it so much that we decided to spend our next vacation there completely. And it won't be the last time. It's a really nice campsite, you only have to turn around twice before you're right on the beach and can take lovely... walks in both directions. The restaurant right next to the campsite is currently under construction and is due to open next season. The "Land & Meer" restaurant on the neighboring Walkyrien campsite is highly recommended.
Grömitz is a nice little town that is not as crowded as Timmendorfer Strand. There are also nice excursion destinations within a radius of 60km. Wild beach (dog beach)NegativnoRestaurant was closed due to new construction, but it should be finished at some pointTop spot a little off the expensive promenadeI was only there briefly, but the campsite is in a great location on the coast with a view of the sea and the beach is really beautiful. It's not a typical bathing beach, more of a wild beach with small cliffs and rugged charm. It is only a few meters from the pitch to the sea, the place is in very good... condition and you can see that it is constantly maintained. There is a motorhome-only site in the neighborhood that I actually wanted to go to, but unfortunately it was full. However, the campsite itself has a very nice ambience despite the many "permanently installed" caravans. The walk to the beach is short and the view is wonderful. The organization was great. The showers cost extra (everything is recorded and billed using a site card, you don't need change) but, like the washrooms, they are spotlessly clean and well maintained.
The café/restaurant at the entrance to the beach was a large building site and not in operation. However, it is to be hoped that it will be finished soon.

Bread roll service and 2 small supermarkets within walking distanceNegativnoWe were there at the beginning of October and unfortunately the motorhome site with the paved pitches can only be reserved for 5 days or more. This is often the case and as a camper with a shorter stay you have little chance of getting a pitch there. However, as the pitches are the same as those on the adjacent campsite, we went there for 4 days. Nice pitches, but all with a grass area that has rotted away over the summer due to the awning campers, leaving an area of ground that gets very muddy when wet. The dirt is then trodden into the very nice sanitary facilities, which makes the overall appearance look very unsightly.All in all, a highly recommended campsite on the Baltic Sea coastA very nice, owner-managed facility, with a good price-performance ratio.
It's a shame that you can't get the motorhome area for shorter stays, as reservations always have priority. The view of the Baltic Sea is great.Аутоматски преведено. - Giuseppina P.September 2024Pozitivno-A beautiful and quiet campsite, with large pitches. -The sanitary facilities are clean (cleaned several times a day) and no mold or other dirt on the floors, walls and ceilings. -Questions and any concerns are always answered by the very friendly staff. -On arrival you are shown the pitch and even helped to push the caravan (if there is no mover) to the right place. -You also get tips on how best to position the caravan (due to sunlight) and how to connect the electricity etc. on the spot. -Dog-friendly: there are plenty of runs, agility, dog beaches, showers and bags with garbage cans for the droppings of your 4-legged friends.NegativnoOne absolute and only drawback is that the electricity meter cannot be read and everything has to be done on a trust basis.A beautiful placeWe have been camping for 2 years and have visited a few places from the North Sea to the Baltic Sea. We were particularly taken with the Bay of Lübeck. That's how we came up with the idea of spending this fall vacation at Campingland Ostsee. Again on the tent meadow. As I couldn't get back to the site until around 8pm, I was offered the opportunity to sort out all the formalities in the morning. A super nice welcome and a very helpful, friendly groundsman. The size... of the individual tent pitches is ideal. The map system for the sanitary facilities is great. The toilets, showers etc. are very clean and spacious. I've been to several campsites in northern Germany and this is my absolute favorite campsite.
