We were able to go on lovely bike rides from there. We played mini golf on the pitch and enjoyed the sunset in the evening with a fresh pizza and a glass of wine.

You can go surfing and kite surfing and you can be shown how. Excursions into the surrounding area by bike are great. To Greifswald, to Lubmin. The beach is sufficiently wide and clean. The water is clear and clean. Few plants. Showering is only possible with shower tokens for 1 EUR 4 minutes. You have to plan ahead, maybe use 2 shower tokens. Washing clothes or using the dryer costs 4 EUR. The prices in the kiosk are very high. E.g. Radler 0.5l 1.20 EUR, handkerchiefs 1 pack 0.50 EUR and so on. Fresh bread rolls. You can't return all deposit bottles, only the ones you buy there. We found that really stupid. Because there is no Lidl or EDEKA in the area. Booking online was very easy. The response was also very quick.
The staff were very nice and courteous. Everything was explained to us very well and any questions we had were answered in a friendly manner.
The... pitches are natural and very spacious. Electricity and water are accessible close to or directly at the pitch and are safe.
During our stay, the sanitary building was very clean and spacious. Even the little ones have nice washing facilities here.
There is also at least one well-equipped playground for the kids to run around in. Food is also provided here. A small but well-equipped "Tante Emma" store has everything that the vacationer has forgotten about food.
We felt very comfortable here and we know that this place belongs on our list of beautiful places that we will visit again.
We did see one drawback, but it's not the site's fault. It's the last 5 km of road to the campsite. They are horrible. At 8 a.m. you have to queue for 30 minutes to buy bread rolls. We switched to toast. Unfortunately, the number of four-legged friends on the campsite is unacceptable. Every 2nd person arrives with 2 or more dogs. From peeing next to our breakfast table, peeing on the beach between the children and pooping on the beach and in the water, everything is there. Some of the poo is left lying around or the bags are thrown away later on the beach or on the way there. Although there are plenty of garbage cans. These were emptied regularly. Why do dogs not have to pay and the leashes are not checked? If they are not on a leash on the campsite, they like to go for a walk on the next pitch. Dogs are only allowed to swim outside the campsite beach, .... but nobody sticks to this. In addition to 20 kite umbrellas, there are tons of bottle caps and broken pieces in the sand. Perhaps signs should be put up to show where dogs can swim and where sports areas are. Unfortunately, this spoils the whole impression of the place. If nothing is done, the place could soon be called a dog cesspit.Too many dogs, unfortunately. If you only come here for the sea, this is the place for you and the price for the overnight stays is absolutely reasonable, but the days of shower vouchers, lousy WiFi for expensive money and prices for bread rolls and food at petrol station level are actually over - I thought. I think we would head for a different site next time, although everything was actually clean and in order, fully automated license plate recognition on the one hand and decaying old halls on the site on the other don't really go together. Years ago, a few people had a dog. Now every family has at least one dog or even every person (or so it seems to me).... Sometimes two people with three to four dogs, that's no longer possible. What happens as a result? Lots of paths at the edge with dog mess.... and even on the beach where children play. When the owners speak to you, you get made fun of. If it goes on like this, the place will soon be a pure dog toilet. They should raise the prices for the dogs and do more for the food and childcare. Otherwise a very nice groundsman who is always very helpful and also the staff at reception. In contrast, the manager is just embarrassing, is not ready for a conversation and never lets herself be seen or even with a conversation with guests who have been coming here for years (bad management and should be replaced). She generally does not have the place under control. No opportunity to eat in the evening or at lunchtime as everything is closed due to a lack of staff and the wealth of the management.
