"Time spent at the Rossmühle is always a wonderful vacation experience - - Very friendly and helpful owners - Beautiful location with pitches directly on the Franconian Saale and a large tent meadow - Boat rental with pick-up and delivery service - Small store in the reception for some everyday things and ordering service for bread rolls - Very comfortable and very clean sanitary facilities to a high standard - There is a room with an industry-standard washing machine and dryer (short running times), fridge and freezer for use as well as a changing table - Scullery incl. hotplates - Sanitary and kitchen facilities are cleaned several times a day - The children's playground is fenced in and can be viewed from all sides. It is located right next to the reception and the indoor and outdoor guest areas. You have the choice of a sunny or shady spot. - Beautiful hiking area, e.g. the Saalebrückenweg is a beautiful circular hiking trail directly on the Franconian Saale with many varied sections of landscape - Cycle tours along the Franconian Saale, with virtually no inclines. For example, upstream to Hammelburg, Bad Kissingen and downstream to Gemünden. The cycle paths are mostly tarred, sometimes finely gravelled - The regional train stop (Unterfranken-Shuttle EB 50) to Hammelburg, Bad Kissingen, Schweinfurt or the opposite direction to Gemünden is right next to the campsite - You could also use the train to get back to the campsite (with a day bike ticket, currently €6) - Camping outfitter and very good service workshop right next door, as well as sale of Hymer-Eriba models of all types and equipment - All in all, all of the above-mentioned points for families are the prerequisite for a nice, relaxing vacation and the desire to come back. - P.S.: For a real camper, it should be a matter of course to leave the site and its facilities as you would like to find them

"Vacation in the Zeltwiese apartment - Hossa! The tent meadow was full at the WE. OK, it was loud in places, but what you got to see there was simply priceless! Wagon castles with tents, pavilions, caravans, mobile homes, old tractors with trailers etc. It was just great and we really enjoyed it, even though we're not that young ourselves! Go to the Roßmühle and treat yourself to a great vacation.

"Nice place .... BUT - Dogs run around everywhere and poop all over the meadow. The barking goes on all day. Unbelievable. Everywhere you see these creatures with their legs raised and pissing on the bushes. Ugh. The campsite is actually in a beautiful location but the party people party loudly all night and the campsite operators do nothing about it. So if you want to spend a quiet vacation or weekend, this is not the place for you.

"Our vacation was very nice - Camping place was very clean order top, clean toilets, showers etc everything is fine You can relax and enjoy nature, the peace and quiet, the water, etc. Everything was really nice. My fiancé is happy to come again, he also liked it very much and will definitely come back on vacation. Mfg masselter Julia and Hofmann

"nice place between Rhön and Spessart - Nice and very clean place with nice operators. Sanitary building with key - very clean and pleasant. Unusual approach over bridge, but adventure passed :o). The site is located directly on the express train Rg. Hammelburg / Rg. Gemünden - nice starting point, but quiet at night. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the restaurant. But there is a nice little store run by the couple who also sell local products. Canoes can also be hired in summer. There is a camping equipment store with a workshop in front of the campsite.

"Beautiful place - If you love peace and quiet, this is the place for you. Great food in the adjacent restaurant. The free-roaming dogs on the part of the campsite operator and restaurant owner are unpleasant. A no go for me, whether dog owner or not.

Our Campground is a very close to nature and family-friendly place. There are many possibilities to share your freetime like using our solarium, fitness room, or playground. Our speciall is canoeing and swimming in "der fränkischen Saale" just like cycling …through the beautyful landscape of "Saaletal" We look forward to your visit!
