The site extends over a green slope down to the sea; in the upper part of the site near the taverna there are larger, flat areas, unparceled, for caravans and motorhomes; a concrete road leads down the slope in curves, further down very nice... pitches under conifers for tents with plenty of space between the terraces. You can reach the clear water via a wooden jetty with a ladder, the seabed is sandy there, you can stand and swim to two bathing islands. There are free plastic loungers by the sea (and around the campsite), tamarisk trees provide shade and everything is very quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay - not least because of the very tasty food in the taverna, where the owner of the campsite and taverna (an Austrian original) came from table to table every evening to list the changing dishes of the day and take orders. Very personable. Sanitary facilities average, some newer, some older but always clean; due to the hillside location, a certain level of fitness is required when commuting between the sea and the pitch and taverna, but you have time. The neighboring villages offer a lot of hustle and bustle and leisure activities, e.g. a boat trip to the island of Marathonisi. Very friendly owners, very good food at fair and reasonable prices.
