- Thorsten B.July 2024PozitivnoLocation, surroundingsNegativnoVolume, youth groupsBeautifully situated but very restlessIn itself a nice place in a beautiful location. During our stay there were always several groups of children and young people on the site. Unfortunately, this caused a lot of hustle and bustle on the pitch from early in the morning until late in the evening. This could be solved if the groups were accommodated... in a more isolated location to spare the nerves of the other campers. However, there seems to be little interest in changing this at reception. Definitely not a place for people looking for a minimum of peace and quiet... Sanitary facilities are correspondingly busyАутоматски преведено.
- Tanja K.August 2018PozitivnoFamiliar, manageable, large pitches, direct lake access, great hiking opportunitiesNegativnoOnly lukewarm water for showering and washing up. Dogs allowed on the pitch, but not at the lake.Nice, simple campsiteThe location is great! Lake access at the campsite, beautiful hikes also possible directly from the campsite. The reception was very friendly and the staff speak very good English. The price-performance ratio in the low season was absolutely fine. The individual pitches are quite large and there are... plenty of shady spots. Fresh baguettes and croissants are available on site in the morning. The pool is small but perfectly adequate as the lake is close by. There are two wash houses, one older and one newer. Toilets were cleaned regularly, but there are no toilet seats or toilet paper! The water temperature in the showers cannot be regulated, we almost always had to take lukewarm showers. This was no fun on cold days. The water at the sinks was also often cold. The beach at the lake is supervised in high season. There is a separate non-swimmer area for children in the lake. There are toilets and a kiosk. However, dogs are not allowed here!!! We were there in the low season when there was no lifeguard. We were therefore able to keep our dog a little out of the way, which was no problem. Probably not possible in high season. All in all, a good place to stay for a few days.Аутоматски преведено.
- Stefan P.July 2018PozitivnoPrivate beach, clean pool, friendly staff with good English skills!NegativnoOld bathhouse unkemptBeautiful place by the lakeNice place on the lake with supervised beach. Mainly used by the French and Dutch. Good leisure facilities for families with children thanks to the pool and lake. New bathhouse with children's toilets and family shower. Old bathhouse unfortunately unkempt. Store and bistro are very basic. Restaurant with courteous staff. Good place for a beach vacation.Аутоматски преведено.
- Klaus K.July 2018RatingThe campsite is very quiet. The sanitary facilities are outdated and need to be renovated. There are also far too few. The site was covered in butterfly caterpillars during our stay in July. It was unbearable. We were informed of this when we arrived. But everything was glossed over. Then we also had... to pay for our entire stay in advance. The lake is beautiful. But it doesn't make up for the negative aspects of the campsite. There are also very few water points.Аутоматски преведено.
- Chris N.July 2017PozitivnoGreat location Beach directly on site Friendly staffNegativnoStay only against prepayment Lack of cleanliness in the sanitary facilities Sanitary blocks partly in need of renovation1A location on Lac de Vouglans with small downsidesThe campsite is located directly above the shores of Lac de Vouglans. Separate access to the lake takes you to the beach within 3 minutes (supervised, kiosk, no dogs allowed). The nearby Pont de la Pyle is hardly a nuisance, but offers a good opportunity for activities on the other side of the lake.... The staff are friendly and speak English as well as French. The fee for the stay must be paid in advance on arrival. In addition, a deposit of €20 must be paid for the chip to operate the barrier. Both of these things really annoyed us and were not exactly a sign of hospitality. The pitches are large enough and parceled out by a few trees or bushes. A CEE adapter is required for the power point. The fuses are in place and can be operated by the camper themselves. Charcoal fires are permitted. The number of permanent campers is manageable. The clientele consists mainly of French people followed by Dutch people. Campers of other nationalities can only be found occasionally. Overall, the site is relatively quiet. There are two sanitary blocks. One facility is no longer up to date, the other is in good condition. However, the cleaning of the sanitary blocks leaves a lot to be desired. The swimming pool is sufficiently large and well maintained for a campsite. However, it is unsupervised, so certain bathing rules are often disregarded. Supermarkets are about 10 to 15 minutes away by car. As usual in France, you can get everything there, including gas. Leisure activities include anything to do with water. Motorboats can be launched in the nearby harbor. With its caves and waterfalls, the surrounding area is perfect for hiking enthusiasts.Аутоматски преведено.
- Manuel und Christina A.July 2015Pozitivno- beautiful location directly on the lakeNegativno- Sanitary 1 somewhat old, in need of renovationBeautiful CP in the JuraWe spent a few days at CP Surchauffant at the end of July. The campsite offers good value for money for a 3-star CP. Some of the sanitary facilities are a bit dated, the pool is small but adequate. The direct access to the lake/beach is great, the area is wonderful.Аутоматски преведено.
- Martina H.June 2014PozitivnoVery nice pitches, helpful and friendly staff, good facilities on site.NegativnoPoor sanitary facilitiesGreat placeBeautifully designed, large pitches, full on public holidays and weekends, otherwise quiet. Unfortunately, low-flying aircraft sometimes several times a day. Friendly staff, they speak German and English at reception and are very helpful. The sanitary facilities take some getting used to, as m + w are... not separated. Single wash cubicle is next to the urinal, too few toilets when the pitch is full. A door to the sanitary facilities is probably opened in the high season. In the modernized building, showers/toilets/washing cubicles are together in one room. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are not clean and extremely basic. No toilet seats, no toilet paper. Nevertheless, the site is recommendable. There is a snack building in front of the reception and 2 restaurants just before it - so you are well supplied with everything. Supermarket is about 6 km away. The area is quite remote and lonely, few tourist offers and facilities. Hiking and cycling are good to a limited extent, as there are only country roads without footpaths. Fishing is more or less only possible from a boat; there are few spots that lead directly to the shore of the lake.Аутоматски преведено.
- Ralf H.June 2013The campsite is in a beautiful location. It is incredibly quiet, only at the weekend do the locals come to swim and it gets a little crowded and louder. The sanitary facilities are adequate, but could be cleaned more often and more quickly. It's just the right place for a relaxing vacation. The price for the campsite is unbeatable, even in the high season for families. We will definitely be backАутоматски преведено.

- Micael R.August 2010PozitivnoBeautiful poolNegativnoCleanliness and observance of rest periodsGood location with disadvantagesBeautiful location in the Jura. Pitches large enough. Pool is big enough and heated. Unfortunately, the after-rest is not controlled. When there are groups of young people at the site, it can be long and loud. There are therefore plenty of alternativesАутоматски преведено.
- Fred S.August 2010A very nice and quiet campsite located directly on the lake. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is also a store but the prices are high. The pizza is not good:-((( but the baguette all the more so, I'll be backАутоматски преведено.
