The manager is very helpful and nice. At this time of year it is still very cold in the evenings and it is not yet possible to go swimming. Not much shade. The toilets and washing facilities are at the top of a rocky path, and are all outside and very rustic. The lake surroundings are picturesque, but there is a lot of rubbish.

- James W.July 2011Had the pleasure of staying at Eco Camping Batak in the summer of 2011 - owned by a very friendly young couple and most importantly they speak excellent ENGLISH!!!, which is rare in Bulgaria. If you need something they'll get it for you in less time than you can say thank you. Also great kayaking and cycling options on the lake. Definitely worth a visit.
