"Great place - We were here with the caravan and our three dogs. As soon as you enter, you notice a large, new playground and various driving equipment (go-carts), a paradise for children. The pitches are generously distributed over the very large area. They adapt to the terrain, so there are flat and less flat pitches, but all on grass. Putting in pegs is no problem. The pitches are divided into different areas by high wooden walls, which serve as wind protection. The path to the beach goes through the dunes, maybe 500m. So it's easy to reach. But if you stand on the edge of the cliff, there is an extremely steep wooden staircase with a rope railing. Walk very carefully! I would have my doubts with small children. We had to carry our dogs down (luckily they're not that big). There are horses, goats, rabbits and kangaroos on the site! So there's always something to look at. The only downside is the sanitary facilities. They are getting on in years. But clean. Unfortunately, there was only toilet paper in one of the many cabins and it was of the single-ply wrapping paper variety. Better to bring your own. On the other hand, hot showers are free of charge and with a proper tap where you don't have to press the button every three seconds. We stayed at the campsite for two nights and used it as a base for excursions. The location is ideal for this. Overall, we felt very comfortable here and would stay here again. There is a lot to see in the surrounding area and plenty of action for children.

"Simply wonderful and child-friendly!!! - The campsite is a paradise for children. Our daughter was out and about all day... the campsite is not overcrowded and crammed, but loosely "filled". There is a pool and lots of other leisure activities, there is something for all ages. WLAN was also working... The sanitary facilities are older. However, the cleanliness was fine at our time and there were enough of them. Various riding activities can be used. The girls were totally lovely and made an effort with the children. Absolute praise!!! The location is not far from the beach. The site also has pitches with windbreak fences. We recommend it in strong westerly winds and thank you for a wonderful stay.

"Simply great! - It was our first time here. There are only a few places with such a beautiful location. The operators are super nice and you can walk along the beach for hours without meeting a soul. We will definitely be back soon.

"Lovely hosts, lots of peace and great nature - It's always a great stay here! The family atmosphere is super welcoming! The bread service is top, with very tasty rolls! We like to stand "wild" and that is very possible here to the cliffs! The nature all around is unique with the many paths on which you can walk from coastal town to coastal town! Our big dog was also very welcome and could even let off steam every morning on the dog run at the campsite! There is plenty on offer for children. From a petting zoo with rabbits, goats, kangaroos and especially ponies! Right up to large playgrounds and play facilities! The sanitary facilities are older but everything is always clean! We also loved the family showers! We will definitely be back!

Profil

The Kallmayer family welcomes you to our web site hoping that it twill inspire you to visit our wonderful camping site. Our site is situated between the 2 holiday towns Løkken and Lønstrup in the middle of the most beautiful …scenery of Denmark. Within a very short distance you will find the Fun Park “Fårup Summerland”, the Museum of Nordsø Museet, and a Pay and Play golf course, etc. We have got a variety of activities on the site: lead rides on horses, baking of twist bread, ball games, crazy golf, feeding of the animals in our mini zoo, etc. Furthermore we can recommend tours on foot or rides in the magnificent scenery, or you can go for a swim in the North Sea, which is within 200 m from the site. Our camping shop offers the most needed convenience goods including fresh-baked breakfast rolls. If you do not want to stay in tent or caravan, we can offer you to stay in one of our 20 cabins. We strongly recommend one of our new luxury cabins with wood burning stove, bath/toilet, TV with DVD, loft, automatic dishwasher and many other facilities. We look forward to welcoming you. From south on route 55: After the round-about (At Action House in Løkken): Drive another 1000 m on route 55 (Direction North) and turn left on kystvejen. Follow the road 3,8 km and then turn left at the T-cross. Follow …Lyngbyvej 1,8 km and turn left at Gl. Klitgaard Camping. From north on route 55: Turn right in Rubjerg-Gølstrup at Lønstrupvej. Follow the road in 2 km and the turn left at Lyngbyvej. Follow the road in 1,2 km and then turn right at Gl. Klitgaard Camping. From the Free-way: Leave the freeway at Exit no. 5. Follow the signs "Løkken". When coming to route 55 - Pass across route 55 and follow Kystvejen 3,8 km and then turn left at the T-cross. Follow Lyngbyvej 1,8 km and turn left at Gl. Klitgaard Camping.
