Stay far away from this guy. He will take money from his mother's... grave if he could. Ripped us off even after booking.com said they would refund us as we got into the room, saw what a dump it was, and asked for our money back. He just kept lying. I pitty his wife who ran away as she knew we were right. Our only bad experience in Ireland. - Peter S.August 2012Beautiful location, great panorama, great hiking opportunities from the site, lairg ghru, Schafsberg etc., good bus connections to the surrounding area. Good sanitary facilities, youth hostel opposite has delicious food for visitors too.Аутоматски преведено.
- M Z.August 2012Good location on the lake and right next to the Forest National Park. Very good sanitary facilities: large and well maintained.Аутоматски преведено.
- Karl Thomas K.July 2011First of all: The reception is only staffed by the hour and we were confronted with the closed reception as soon as we arrived. We were lucky that someone from the campsite was there to lock the reception. We were given a map of the campsite and told about the 6m distance to the neighbor already mentioned... by the previous speaker and were asked to come back the next day and make the registration. The pitches for Womo/Wowa that do not require a power connection are in a line at the edge of the forest on rather uneven unmarked pitches - 6m distance to the neighbor ;-) The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities is limited, plus point the location on the lake and the possibilities for all kinds of outdoor activities.Аутоматски преведено.
- René R.June 2011The course is located in the Cairngorms National Park on Loch Morlich and belongs to the local Forestry Commission. The surrounding forest is one of the last original Scottish forests. The site consists of three separate parts: Part 1 consists of gravelled pitches on a level meadow. The pitches are separated... from each other by strips of grass. Part 1 is separated from part 2 by a stream and a row of trees. This part consists of a slightly uneven meadow with sparse trees. The pitches are not parceled out (a distance of 6m from the neighbors must be maintained). Not all pitches have electricity. Where electricity is available, a long cable is sometimes necessary. Part of the 2nd pitch is reserved for tents. The first two pitches offer a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and heights. The 3rd part of the site is located directly in the forest. The pitches on the fairly level forest floor result from the niches in the forest. Some of the pitches have a view of the lake. The two sanitary buildings are located on the 2nd part of the site and are quite modern and, above all, very clean, just as the whole site makes a very well-kept impression. The site has a small café + store with a sufficient range of products. Apart from the bread rolls there, I had nothing to complain about on the site. Several walking and hiking trails start directly at the campsite. There is a "nature study program" for children and young people, accompanied by the national park rangers, such as geocaching courses and the like. The lake has a beautiful sandy beach and boat hire with canoes etc. From time to time, the site is crossed by young people from an adjacent youth hostel on their way to the lake. Otherwise, the site is very quiet.Аутоматски преведено.
