- Ronald Z.July 2024PozitivnoNothingNegativnoPoor sites for tent campers. All very lukewarm water at dishwashing facility Showers not included despite high price Reception that is difficult if you do not have a camping pass and hopelessly slow Reception that can't find the already paid overnight fee when you leave. Far too expensive for what you get (most expensive campsite of all my vacations through Norway and Sweden)Not recommended campingPoor sites for tent campers; too full and sloping mostly sloping.
All very lukewarm water at dishwashing facilities.
Showers not included despite high price.
No kitchen facilities ( which is common at most campsites in Norway and Sweden).
Reception that is difficult if you do not have a camping pass... and hopelessly slow.
Reception who can't find the already paid overnight fee when you leave (luckily I had kept the receipt).
Way too expensive for what you get (most expensive campsite of all my vacation through Norway and Sweden). SEK 325,- for 1 person with small tent.Аутоматски преведено. - Andrea R.August 2019PozitivnoGreat place to fish and relaxNegativnononeNice place next to a moose parkThe campsite is located above the lake on a plateau. A short path leads from the campsite to the small bathing beach. There is a steam bath/sauna on a raft in the lake, which can be reached by rowing boat and can be hired. The sanitary facilities are rustic but very clean. Unfortunately, there is no... anteroom in the shower where you can change. This has to be done in the washroom, from where you also go into the shower. Nice staff, bread service available. The moose park is within walking distance. You just have to cross the road.Аутоматски преведено.
- Jürgen & Petra K.July 2018Elk farmWe spent 2 days here on our way to the archipelago. Very friendly welcome, nice pitch no. 137, and there are facilities at the campsite, in reception and in the "restaurant" next door. The bathing area at the lake is small and the water is not completely clean. We have experienced other lakes in Sweden.... The sanitary facilities are getting on in years. Given the size of the site, a larger number of toilets would be desirable. There are many permanent campers on this site.Аутоматски преведено.
- Christopher F.July 2016PozitivnoDirectly on the lake, free W-Lan, moose ranch nearbybeautiful place at the lakeBeautiful site situated on a plateau by the lake. Owner access to the bathing bay. Steam bath on the lake can be booked. Small kiosk and restaurant. Large playground. Free W-Lan at the kiosk. 500m further on there is a great elk ranch. 20 km further on is the Dalsland Acivity Center with zipline, pony rides etc. Quite uneven terrain. Small recreation room at the wash house, oven and microwave. Toilets a bit outdated.Аутоматски преведено.
- Ulrich S.July 2016PozitivnoGood connections. Pizza on site. Moose park opposite. Good distance to the ferry to Gothenburg. Friendly. Beautiful area.NegativnoSanitary facilities could be overhauled. Shower extra not up to dateSimple but nice place. Partly uneven pitches.Beautiful place above the lake. Small bathing beach. Steam sauna possible. Pitches not too big, partly uneven. Friendly. - Holger J.August 2015PozitivnoLocation, friendliness of the staff, lake scenery in DalslandNegativnoWater tap only at the sanitary buildingbeautifully situated, moose park oppositeEd was actually only supposed to be our starting point for a day trip to Oslo, as the Gothenburg => Olso train has its last stop on Swedish territory here. But because the site is so beautifully situated, the elk park is right opposite and we took a great boat trip from Håverud via the aqueduct and across a wonderfully situated lake, we spontaneously extended our stay. We would like to come back again.Аутоматски преведено.
- Reto K.July 2015PozitivnoMoose park just around the cornerNegativnoOlder sanitary facilities with coin slotVisit to the mooseWe spent three nights here. The welcome was, shall we say, "Nordic cool". They refused to accept our "TCS-Camping international" camping card. Even the argument that all the campsites we have visited so far have accepted them was not accepted. The site is largely occupied by permanent campers. The sanitary... facilities are clean, but a bit outdated. I also think the coin-operated showers are no longer up to date! The moose park which is just opposite is certainly worth a visit. At the feeding times (11.00/13.00 and 15.00) you can experience the animals up close, and the owner gives lots of interesting information about the animals and their habitats.Аутоматски преведено.
- Uwe L.June 2015PozitivnoNice location, quiet, good value for money.NegativnoSanitary facilities outdated (but clean).Nice place, very friendly service, sanitary building in need of overhaulA nice place, well organized, friendly service, good pizzeria on site, sanitary facilities need to be overhauled. Too few flushing facilities with hot water.Аутоматски преведено.
- Johannes B.July 2014Pozitivnosuper clean lake, good pizzeriaNegativnosomewhat few leisure activities in the areaBeautiful place, very nice lake.Very nice place, very nice slightly lower lake, good pizzeria on site, very friendly German and English speaking staff, the playground is fine. There are 2 sanitary facilities for each gender, which are also sufficient and clean. It was very nice there.Аутоматски преведено.

- Heinz E.June 2014Typical Swedish campingIn Grönebacke, you will find a nice, relaxed arrangement of pitches with shade and sunbathing areas. A beautiful view over Lake Lila Le, which lies below. The clean water is perfect for a dip. The older, somewhat simpler sanitary building has been supplemented with a newer extension. Both are in good... and very clean condition. Unfortunately, there is little information available on the campsite and in the municipality of Ed about sights and hiking opportunities. The Wi-Fi service is somewhat limited and not available in all areas of the site. We felt comfortable at the camp for 5 daysАутоматски преведено.
- Mar E.July 2013After visiting the elk farm in Dals-Ed, we decided to spend the night at Gröne Backe Camping directly opposite. Here, too, we got a pitch near the playground. The playground was medium sized, but on closer inspection it was in need of renovation. The campsite is located slightly above the lake, and a... footpath leads to the campsite's own beach. In contrast to other lakes, the water was clear and appeared very clean. The campsite's own sauna house is located on a raft, which can be rented along with rowing boats. The sanitary facilities are located in a central building on the site. There were two different entrances for each gender. One door led to toilets/showers that were older and no longer the best and the second door led to the rear area, where the toilets and showers were more modern and clean. Special mention should be made of the fact that the dishwashing facilities under the canopy outside only had cold water supply. The only two dishwashing stations with hot water were located in the kitchen and were very popular. People were queuing up after each meal. We were also able to relax at this campsite before moving on. Repeat factor: 85 percent.Аутоматски преведено.
- Oswald K.July 2013We actually only wanted to stay one night. Now it's four. Why? The campsite is beautifully located and offers everything we wanted. The service staff are very friendly and the pitches are spacious. The small beach in the bay invites you to linger. The sanitary facilities are very clean and there are plenty of them. The scullery is one of the best we have ever had. Overall, highly recommended.Аутоматски преведено.
