Very steep approach from the north. Navi sent us across the city into the narrowest alleys. Better to follow the map and look for major roads. From the south, we recommend taking the D944. Petrol station very far away. Individual... pitches embedded in nature with as little change to the vegetation and ground as possible. Sanitary facilities somewhat old and in need of repair. In September there are only baguettes and croissants. The campsite is located on the highest point of a mountain, or rather the mountain in Royat, which we didn't know and hadn't gathered from the descriptions beforehand. The mountain cannot be reached without an e-bike; with a 15% gradient, the only option was... to push! We should have been made aware of this situation. The pitch did not make a good impression. We had a pitch with electricity, but the power box, which was obviously the only one in the area, was completely covered with cables from other pitches. The sanitary facilities were not all open, and the ones that were open were not very clean and very busy. You had to expect waiting times. The restaurant is in a nice location, but you shouldn't arrive too late, in our case there was only 1 portion of chips left at 9.30pm! Everything else was out, or they didn't want to do anything else. The only alternative was the ice cream freezer, which fortunately was still well stocked. On the plus side, it was very quiet. The site was also quite dark in parts due to the tall trees, but this had a positive effect when it was very hot. As a result, the price-performance ratio was not in line, quite high costs for a very modest pitch.Аутоматски преведено.
