The site is beautifully laid out and the pitches are mostly separated from each other by bushes. The pitches have water, drainage and electricity.

The toilet gets wet when showering.Recommended with slight deductionsWe stayed at the MeerGrün campsite at the end of July.
The pitches in the Rondel around F11 are all very large.
The pitch where the caravan is parked is leveled with gravel and grassed over. The ground is very hard but you can easily get the tent pegs into the ground.
There is only one wash house which... can only be entered with a chip card
We cycled from pitches F11 every time. Unfortunately there was no bike stand in front of the entrance, so everyone had to park their bikes on the grass in front of it.
SPO can be reached by bike (no e-bike!) in about 20 min/6km. Which was no problem for us.
For a week in SPO a good campsite. However, we won't be coming back any time soon as the beach is the only thing that captivated us in the area. You definitely have to see it. But it's almost too big... 😅
Unfortunately you can't take your dog to the restaurant, but we had no problems getting ToGo. Indian food. It was delicious, but I would recommend the nearby restaurant in Tatingen.Аутоматски преведено. - Michael W.October 2020PozitivnoFriendly reception, clean facilities.NegativnoSeats partly poorly secured, behavior of the boss.Nice place, rude bossWe stayed at the Meergrün campsite with our motorhome for one night in October. The friendly lady at reception gave us directions to a pitch, which we then went to. Unfortunately, we ended up on the completely softened and impassable half of the site and got stuck on one side. We were kindly promised... help at reception.
After about 1 hour, an older man (the owner?) came with a tractor and tractor driver. He spent about 10 minutes talking about how stupid you can be and insulted me wildly. My repeated apologies and attempts at appeasement were basically answered with the words "I can't buy anything for that".
In the course of the conversation, I was threatened not only with the salvage costs (which I understand) but also with the costs of the loss of use of the space until the end of the year. And this despite the fact that, according to previous telephone information, pitches are always free. We didn't have to make a reservation either and over 50% of the mobile pitches were free despite the fall vacations.
After returning from vacation, we actually received an invoice from the campsite in our letterbox for recovery costs and damage repair...

The website appealed to me and the campsite fully met or even exceeded my expectations.
Even the booking was super easy: no deposit, I was happy to arrive by 22:00 when I left my barrier card.
Registration was completed... in three minutes the next day (including coronavirus instructions).
The pitch is easy to access and certainly huge at 150 square meters. Water, waste water, WLAN all there.
Everything is very well maintained, nice and quiet, plenty of space for children and adults.
The operator also has a second site in the village which we had a quick look at. The site also seems to be very nice and tidy. That speaks volumes for the operators and their philosophy.
The road doesn't bother us, the aerial photo on Google Maps is not up to date, the pitch is much bigger.
We are in the "F-Rondell" and think it's great to be there with an unobstructed view over fields and meadows.

The pitch itself was overgrown with grass about 30 cm high. So they didn't even manage to mow it. There was also a garbage problem. The garbage cans were overflowing for 4 days and it stank without end. There are no shopping... facilities on the site. So if you have forgotten something, you are forced to go to Garding by car/bike to do your shopping. The overall impression of the campsite is definitely not worth 5 stars.Аутоматски преведено.

Over the years, we have been able to follow the development of this small campsite from a simple 'meadow behind the house' to a highly recommended '4-star campsite'. Something new is constantly being created for guests... here. You feel welcome and the price-performance ratio is right. Our daughter loves the play barn and we have also played pool and table football. The sanitary facilities are always clean. The whole site looks well-kept, even if there are only gravel paths. The staff are always friendly and there are some goods for daily or urgent camper needs in reception. Bread and rolls can also be pre-ordered here. Otherwise it is not too far to the EDEKA in Garding or various stores in SPO. We can also highly recommend the restaurant - great fries! You can hear the road and also the tooting of the regional train, but that's ok for us. Bad. The pitches are parceled out, pleasantly large, and equipped with fresh water/waste water/electricity. The main road is audible... depending on where you choose the pitch, otherwise surrounded by fields. The swimming pond is well maintained, clean and you can do a few laps. The sanitary facilities have individual washing cubicles, are cleaned regularly and are very clean. Children also have plenty of opportunities to play in good and bad weather. When we were there, there was no restaurant available, stocking up on food was also only moderately possible, there is only a small refrigerated counter available for the bare essentials. Unfortunately, the village of Tating doesn't have much to offer either, it's too small. A bakery, two restaurants, a cafe, that's it, for us it was ok, because you are quickly in St.P.O.. On the other hand, there are a few cycle paths leading away from the village, including to St.P.O. All in all, I give the campsite 3.5 out of 5 stars.Аутоматски преведено.

The pitches have all the important connections (electricity, water and waste water) and are large enough. The sanitary building is very nice and was always clean. The staff are very friendly, but I found the reception opening hours a bit short. Our children (aged... 9 & 11) loved the play barn, which is included for camping guests. The campsite is right next to a main road which didn't bother us. The only thing we found annoying was the long way to the coast, but you know that beforehand. Our pitch D20 was large enough, but unfortunately... a bit muddy at the beginning of October. It was quiet here at night and the road didn't disturb us. Very nice and clean sanitary facilities with individual bathrooms, i.e. shower, WC and washbasin in one room. Billing with Sep-Key. Electricity with CEE and 16A. Wlan free of charge. Shopping facilities in St. Peter-Ording. Bread rolls are available at the CP, unfortunately only bakery store quality. They could offer better here. The choice was huge. After four disappointments and two "well" visits, we came to Martendorf. The site was still under construction, but you could already see what we appreciate so much today. Huge plots with natural... boundaries, adventure and freedom for the children (3 and 6 years old at the time). As soon as we come to the site today, the two of them are out and about all day, whether in the play barn, with the nice neighbors or helping the caretaker with his work. You can clearly see how much heart and soul they put into the facility. Martendorf was a very good decision. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily, the staff are super friendly and the location is perfect. If you want action, you can get it 5 km away, but if you want peace and quiet, you can get it right on site. Relax at the natural swimming pond, go for a walk in the Hochdorf garden, to name just a few possibilities.Аутоматски преведено.
