"Large city campsite with good location on the beach - This is a great place to stay in good weather (beach), otherwise a good base for day(s) in Oulu (not very far from the city center).

"Super place - The city of Oulu is worth a visit, beautiful harbor quarters, opportunities for kayaking near the site, car-free route to the city center. Very well organized site. 2 very different sanitary buildings, one highly recommended, the other rather outdated. Sandy beach with a good restaurant (brunch at the weekend!).

"Predominantly good - The campsite has small and large pitches, with grass or gravel. The gravel is better for a larger camper van in heavy rain. The staff are friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are ok, but not sufficient when the site is full. Overall a good campsite for short and longer stays.

"We expected much more.... - After reading the reviews, we decided to stay at Nallikari Camping. There were already a lot of people waiting at check-in. The whole check-in process was rather slow, as only two people were responsible for it. We were given a pitch with the words "if it's too wet, come back". We then went to our pitch and almost got a shock. Our pitch was under water after a thunderstorm and was completely lost.... it was impossible to get to a mobile home with dry feet. The neighboring plots also looked more like biotopes than pitches, as the water could not drain away due to the presumably clayey subsoil. We decided to change pitches. Apart from the new building, the wash and service buildings are older and in need of renovation. The pitches are bordered by birch and partly fir trees and are rather small, depending on the location you are practically in a dense forest. In general, the campsite is rather middle class and the overfilled waste containers rounded off our overall impression. Luckily we had sunny weather and a visit to Oulu is highly recommended. You can be in the city in 10 minutes by bike. The public beach in front of the campsite is also beautiful. Our repeat factor: 30%

"well-kept, very professionally managed course - Many different types of accommodation, from the Hotel Eden right next door to various cabins, caravans, motorhomes and tents. Good facilities, several playgrounds. Older, but very well-kept and clean sanitary facilities (finally enough space, hooks and shelves!) and kitchen. Free sauna twice a week. Laundry costs extra. Not cheap (34€/day for car + caravan or motorhome with 2 people). Excellent location, right on the beach. Short connection to the center by bike through the forest and over two bridges; longer distance by car.

Nallikari Holiday Village is a year-round holiday resort just a stone’s throw away from the centre of Oulu. The most …beautiful sandy beach in the shores of the Bothnian Bay, maybe even in the whole of Finland, lies by Nallikari Holiday Village. Four Star Accommodation Nallikari Holiday Village provides year-round accommodation: 24 high-quality villas and 28 holiday cottages and a number of camper pitches. In summer, visitors may also choose to stay in new summer cottages or a tent. We also have modern maintenance buildings, sauna and conference room facilities and a restaurant-café on the site.

Nallikari Holiday Village-Camping locates approximately 4 kilometres west of Oulu city centre. Driving from south, head northwards across River Oulu and immediately at Kuusamo sign, take the Kuusamo ramp (ramp number 10) and turn left at the first junction. Drive …on until you see Nallikari signs. Driving from north, when you see Kuusamo sign, turn to Kuusamo ramp and at the first junction, turn right. Drive on until you see Nallikari signs. Our coordinates are: 65 1 47" N, 25 25' 2"E.
