In contrast to most German campsites, there is no midday rest and mowing the lawn and cutting hedges over lunchtime is a bit annoying.
Highly recommended
We (two couples with two caravans) were there in the off-season. That's why we can't say much about the catering and restaurant, but overall we were positively impressed from the very first moment. Very friendly and helpful operator, instruction brochure in German. When we are in NL again, this place will be at the top of our list of destinations

Friendliness makes up for small shortcomings.
This place has a certain flair and is hard to beat in terms of friendliness thanks to the great, friendly manner of the boss. Register at a bell at the gate and the boss will come and personally instruct you. Spacious pitches, electricity and water always close by, waste disposal at the wash houses.... Nice permanent campers, you immediately feel part of the group, no pitch hogs. The old wash house is clean but old. The sanitary facilities in the newer wash house are much more modern and functional. There are no heaters in the sanitary facilities, which is a disadvantage in cold weather. This is a naturist campsite, which is why there are no individual showers, which we don't mind. A small bathing lake belongs to the campsite, which is also constantly monitored by water samples. Very great place for cycling. Drinks are available at the bar, but there are no other facilities. Next village (Musselkanal) in about 4 kilometers has everything (Aldi, Lidl ect.). We felt very, very comfortable.

Unfortunately you can't walk your dog directly from the campsite and have to take the car.
Beautiful naturist area also for dog owners
It's a really well-kept place, super quiet and wonderfully uncomplicated. You generally have to bring your own toilet paper and there is only one communal wash house, but for naturists it shouldn't be a problem anyway. The sanitary facilities are a bit rustic but very clean. We will certainly visit this place again.

Idyllic and quietly situated, very well-kept naturist site
Very well-kept and quietly situated naturist resort. The individual plots are generously laid out and partly separated by hedges. Individual rows are separated from each other by large lawns, so that you are not standing close together. It is also up to you how you position your caravan on each pitch.... The operator is very friendly and helpful - always busy keeping the site in a well-kept condition. There is a small bathing lake on the site, with additional pitches for tourists on the east side. This lake also has a small sandy beach and a sunbathing area on the east side. Day tourists are also very welcome and can even hire a sun lounger there free of charge. The water quality of the lake is regularly checked and is always excellent. There are two sanitary facilities, one near the lake and another at the other end. Showers and washbasins are not separated by gender, but this will not bother a naturist. There is a washing machine, dryer and dishwashing area as well as a disposal point for the chemical toilet. Cars can be parked in a separate parking lot in the entrance area, which has the advantage that you can leave the site with your car all day without being restricted by a lunch break. Night-time is at 11 p.m. - and it is then really very quiet on the site. The surrounding area is ideal for cycling. Shopping facilities can be found in Musselkanaal, approx. 3 km away, with Aldi, Lidl and other supermarkets. In Valthermond, 4 km away, there is a really good snack bar (the home-made loempia, for example, is excellent) and a Chinese restaurant. Emmen, with its pleasant town center and zoo, is around 15 km away. For campers who don't want to bring their own equipment, there are comfortable tents and mobile homes for rent. We have now spent our 3rd season here and are completely satisfied.
