- Wolfgang L.July 2022PozitivnoWould probably be nicely locatedNegativnoDo not want campers but only tenantsResidents only, no tent or motorhomeWe were not allowed in with our car and tent as the site is only open to residents. We couldn't find this out anywhere beforehand.Аутоматски преведено.
- Paulo F.August 2021PozitivnoProximity to the beach mNegativnochanging rooms and toilets. OUTDATEDDisappointedConsidering the price charged, we would have expected better conditions for campers using the changing rooms and toilets. They are out of date and constantly smell unpleasant.
The only positive point is the proximity and virtual exclusivity of the beach.
There isn't the calm, camping vibe that you see in other parks.Аутоматски преведено. - Alexandra M.August 2019Crowds of peoplePositive: direct access to the beach Negative: -crowds of people - old facility - disinterested-looking staff - very unclean sanitary facilities - very expensive (2 pers. with van- 37€) - very loud until 12 o'clock at night with music by operatorsАутоматски преведено.
- Thomas P.April 2019PozitivnoGood locationNegativnoPrices for dogs questionably highSo please, strange prices...How come: humans 3.50, dogs 4 euros. Just say that you don't want a dog, that would at least be honest. And don't get all snappy if you don't accept the prices. We work for our money too.Аутоматски преведено.
- João A.October 2017PozitivnoGood prices .Negativnovery weak DTT signal, almost non-existent, you can't watch TV; poor cleanliness in the changing rooms.Very quiet and peaceful campsite.Various changing rooms, all different, some more recent, others older, there is no maintenance; the trip to the beach is via the cliff, the pool is good and central in the park.Аутоматски преведено.
- Silke S.August 2016Pozitivnobeautiful beach, relaxed camping during the week even in August, good catering possibleNegativnoVery crowded and noisy at the weekend. Too few sanitary facilitiesGood campsite for a beach vacationAs already described, the site is beautifully situated and far away from the hustle and bustle of larger tourist resorts. The beach is very beautiful, but swimming is often quite dangerous depending on the tide and waves and rather difficult for small children as it gets deep very quickly. The site is... spacious in the truest sense of the word. You have to walk a long way to the sanitary facilities, reception, market etc... The sanitary facilities are in good condition and are cleaned several times a day, but are too small and too few for this large site. Showering was only ever possible by queuing and there are clearly smelly "pee spots" everywhere on the site. The catering is good. Well-stocked mercado, bakery, fish store and kiosk. There is also a restaurant, but it is only self-service with often long queues at the counter, an uncomfortable dining room and not very good food. It is very crowded and noisy at the weekend, but things quiet down again on Sunday afternoons. And if you are not dependent on electricity and don't need to have your car by your tent, you can even find beautiful pitches right on the cliffs at weekends in August. But then you have to carry all your things from the parking lot and the walk to the toilet is even longer. But you will be rewarded with peace and quiet and a sea view. The pitches for motorhomes and caravans are parceled out, quite small and very dusty.Аутоматски преведено.
- René R.June 2015Pozitivno- beautiful beach - beautiful pitches under pine treesNegativno- Heavily frequented at weekends, then limited night-time restPlace directly on the beautiful cliffsVery beautifully situated site on a cliff, quite far from the beaten track. The site is very spacious. A large part is reserved for permanent campers. Near the beach there is a separate area for camper vans and caravans under pine trees, level ground with fine gravel. Some long power cables required.... There was no recognizable parcelling. There is also a very nice large area for tents near the beach in the pine forest, mostly uneven. The campsite is very well equipped with a swimming pool, restaurant (more of a snack bar according to the menu), well-stocked supermarket, bread store and fish store (the latter on weekends and in high season). The beach is beautiful with cliffs and a sandy beach and is not overcrowded even when the site is busy. Access is via a steep driveway. There is a small bar, toilets and sun loungers for hire, but above all an infinitely large free area, as there are no hotels or similar in the vicinity. The Atlantic waves should not be underestimated. At weekends, the site is heavily frequented by weekend vacationers. The night's rest is then not observed and during the day the permanent campers drive up to the beach access by car. During the week, the site is very quiet in the low season. The sanitary facilities are simple, but were cleaned regularly. Unfortunately, they were somewhat affected by a festival that took place on the site 2 weeks before our arrival (graffiti on the doors, damaged locks). There was a notice about the festival on the website. During our stay, several party tents and stages for another festival were set up on the way to the beach. I was told that this would not be permanent, but it gave a different impression. The poor access road mentioned by the previous speaker has now been upgraded and is easy to drive on.Аутоматски преведено.

- Andreas O.June 2010Absolutely secluded and beautiful site. The campsite can be reached via a very bad, kilometer-long dirt road. Part of the site is occupied by permanent campers, but the corresponding pitches are beautifully laid out and overgrown, so it is not a problem. The rest of the site consists of a huge, very... hilly pine forest where you can find a spot for your tent. The sanitary facilities are fine and the prices are fair. The food supply is excellent (supermarket, bakery, butcher and fishmonger). It was not very busy in June. The path to the beautiful beach is relatively steep and "deep sandy". Perfect place to relax for a few days.Аутоматски преведено.
- Hans S.May 2010Coming from the south on the national road 261 in the Fontainhas do Mar region, there is a sandy track about 5 km long leading to the campsite. Extensive construction work is currently underway not only on the road but also on the campsite itself. Preparation for the main season. Cleaning the pool, trimming... the hedges, filling the storage area etc. The site is largely occupied by permanent guests. The site is absolutely quiet, apart from the sound of the sea a kilometer away, but that's why you go to the coast.Аутоматски преведено.
