"At the lake on the mountains - We found the place spontaneously for an overnight stay! The staff at reception were friendly. The pitch by the lake was very nice. The lawn was just about passable after the rain. The restaurant on site was good! The sanitary facilities are very dated, but were clean.

"Not a nice experience - A bitter disappointment Man on gravel... Without any green. There doesn't seem to be any such thing as a site organization here. Strangers were constantly walking across our rented pitch to the lake. The lake is beautiful, but unfortunately very loud and chaotic due to the uncivilized crowd. This is also reflected in the washrooms. Even in the shower it smelled very strongly of urine and the toilet was flooded. In addition, the washrooms are not cleaned regularly. This is a great pity. In summary, the campsite is not really recommended, but the area is worth a visit.

"Nice little place with many possibilities - Very nice place, right on the water. Ideal to start swimming first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, there are not many pitches for individual campers. The staff are very friendly and the washrooms are very clean. If necessary, you can buy bread rolls in the restaurant in the morning without ordering. The Petzen with gondola lift is very close by and so there are many activities available. Whether it is hiking in various difficulties, MTB or Enduro from the Petzen or a simple bike tour in the wide valley of the Drau. Various equipment can be rented directly at the campsite reception for a fee, such as SUP, bathing boats and e-MTBs. There are also interesting activities beyond the Slovenian border. MTB tours and canoe tours underground in the old mine, as well as visits to the mining museum.

"Recommendable - Campsite found as described. Found a comfortable, level pitch. All pitches close to the lake. Good restaurant with menu. We would love to come back. ACSI Card accepted.

Enjoy your camping holiday in the south of Carinthia, between the glittering lake Pirkdorfer See and the impressive scenery of Karavanke mountain range. The campsite "Petzencamping" Pirkdorfer See with private beach is perfect for summer or winter camping. The pitches …are just a few steps away from the lake where you can cool down and enjoy watersports like stand up paddling or paddle boat. Our camping pitches are about 90 m² in size and are equipped with electricity and water. The sanitary area has washing machines, tumble dryers, a baby changing room and an accessible toilet. Restaurant offers a range of delicious daily menus and regional specialities. Children will enjoy playing on a shallow grass-covered shore or on the playground. Kids Club in july and august. Dogs are welcome.
