"July 2022 - Well suited for overnight stays - meadow area. Access well signposted. Sanitary facilities basic but clean and fully functional, electricity available. Shopping possibility on foot approx. 5min. - Also takes euros! Stobi can be reached by car in 15 minutes.

"prachtig uitzicht vanaf camping - Kleine camping aan rand van dorp. Licht hellend grasland met weinig schaduw. Boompjes zijn geplant maar nog klein. Nieuw eenvoudig sanitair-gebouw halverwege camping en sanitair + keuken in huurappartement. Erg behulpzame eigenaar die goede tips heeft voor wat er in de omgeving te zien is. Gratis wifi. Voor maar 5 euro p.n.

"More than just a place to stay overnight - The data in Nawi is correct. Unfortunately, the direct route is closed due to the new FUZO. The village offers a wine museum and many leisure activities. Aleks is very helpful.

"Simple but lovely and very welcoming - We came for climbing and had a lovely 2 1/2 days here. Demir Kapija if off the beaten track, feels wonderfully authentic and is super-friendly. It offers great opportunities to sample Macedonian life and food first-hand, as well as birdwatching, nature walks, clear streams and plenty of climbing, caving and via ferrata hikes. Alex is super-welcoming and helpful, and great as a guide and coach. We'll have to come back!

"Alternative ambience - The "Rockland Camp" is a sloping, poorly mown meadow behind a small house in a purely residential area. There is no one at the GPS coordinates given. The key to the house (with sanitary facilities, kitchen and vacation apartment) can be obtained from the owner's house, who lives about 1 km away. You should call the owner (Aleksandr Klenov) in good time (tel. +38 970 34 34 01) and make an appointment with him in the village (possibly at the train station). The site is very simple and alternative, but it has two ladies' and two men's toilets and the same number of showers. Everything is satisfactorily clean. The site has no shade. In the village of Demir Kapija there are stores (the nearest one is about 500 m away) and restaurants. There is a nice swimming opportunity in the small river with very clean water. Aleksandr Klenov is a professional climber and has a lot of tips for leisure activities, especially in the outdoor/climbing area; he speaks English quite well. The site is very reasonably priced at €5/person.

The camp is located in a little town Demir Kapija on the highway E75, and it’s a perfect place to stay for backpackers, trailers and caravans. Located within the city but in a quiet place among vineyards and gardens, the …campsite is a great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle. A 5-minute walk leads to the nearest shop, the town centre is reachable in 15 min. Demir Kapija is a place of wineries and all kinds of active sports. Here you can go rock climbing, hiking, kayaking, cycling, fishing, swim in a mountain river, visit wineries and taste local wines and dishes. Camping is open 24/7 from March to November, with flexible check-in and check-out times. If you plan to stay outside of these months, please contact the owners by email or phone. Some useful infо about the camp: • asphalt approach • gravel entrance, earthen territory • area of 6000 sq. From the highway Skopje – Athens (E-75), by the pointer to Demir-Kapija (Демир-Капиjа), you should enter the town and go there and then follow the signs and arrows in the town (look for black and white and brown town signs). …Since it is not so easy to find a campsite and the streets are winding, it is best to set up a GPS navigator. You can also always call us so that we can meet you.
