"No peace and quiet due to busy road - We only stayed one night. Unfortunately, there was no relaxation as the site is right next to a busy road. Unfortunately, the size of the pitches is also tiny and reminiscent of a hamster shed.

"I would not do it again - The campsite has a good location to get to Karlskrona quickly. However, the sanitary facilities were not really clean and poorly ventilated. We had rented a small, expensive cabin for 2 nights. The hut had a strange smell of its own when we entered, but with scented candles and good ventilation we got used to it at some point. The hut is intended for 4 people, but there was almost not enough storage space for 2 people. The bathroom was not the cleanest. The larger and even more expensive cabins made a more modern and better impression.

" - Nice camping frame beautifully located right by the sea. Pizzeria, ice cream parlor and mini greenhouse in the area. City gross 5 min on foot. Good location with cycling distance to beautiful Karlskrona. Toilets and showers relatively fresh. However, they would gain a lot by having paper towels in the toilets instead of just air dryers. Communal kitchen and playroom could really use a refresh. The campsite hostel is very affordable with kitchen and common room, nice outdoor area with tables and grills. New mattresses in the beds and a new stove / oven would be really good. Nice swimming area with both sand and grass, playground and nice fishing opportunities.

" - The beach is beautiful, a wonderful view from the many rocks, very annoying gawking all day in the vicinity of the permanent campers. Too close to the road, small and narrow access road, luckily we were only there for 2 days, which was enough.

" - We stayed here from 21.6. - 27.6.2010, at that time still with a caravan. The campsite is located at the southern entrance to Karlskrona, which is about 8 km away. The town is therefore also easy to reach by bike. The entrance to the site is a little narrow, but easy to negotiate. The pitches are very spacious. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean, especially sufficient for the site. The reception spoke German and you can enter the site by entering a code, which sometimes "fails". The reception is almost always manned. The small store offers the most necessary drinks and, especially in the morning, fresh bread and small pastries. The restaurant is more "Nordic". Fast food! The one bathing bay was not very special for us. The shore is the resting place for a number of geese, whose droppings can be found everywhere. The bay, which is a little further away, is idyllic, gravely and surrounded by polished archipelago rocks - quite nice, but narrow.

First Camp Skönstavik – Karlskrona is a cozy family campsite located by the southernmost archipelago in Sweden. Stay in a quiet and peaceful setting right by the sea, yet close to the cosy city centre of Karlskrona. Lots of fun …activities are offered for the whole family both on and around the campsite. For example, a 9-hole miniature golf course, an exercise trail, and rowing boat and bicycle rentals. If you want to sunbathe and swim, the area around the campsite offers several bays with both sandy beaches and wonderful cliffs. In addition, this is an excellent place for fishing! Just a walk or bike ride away is Karlskrona city centre with great shopping, plenty of cafés and restaurants, and the popular Marine Museum. And a boat trip out to the islands of Blekinge’s amazing archipelago is a must.
