"Pleasant stay despite a stormy day thanks to the indoor adventure playground - Advantages: Indoor adventure playground in bad weather, plenty of space for flying kites, quiet beach area with few guests at this time of year, children's pool can be used alone without waiting, no dogs on the premises Disadvantages: Somewhat cleaner sanitary facilities would have been nice. More lighting in the evening on the way from the camper van to the sanitary building when you go to wash the dishes or take a shower.

"Great place without a dog - It was very nice again. The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the clear site plan including online booking are very positive. We also really like the option of paying in advance via Pay Pal. The proximity to the beach, the town center and the ferry dock is also great

"Very nice as always - A visit to Bensersiel is a must at least once a year ;-) Or even twice. Or even more often ;-) It's our absolute favorite campsite. This year was the 10th time.

"Beautiful place on the beach - The location virtually on the sandy beach was great and the bakery and the campsite restaurant are highly recommended. The view from the second floor of the restaurant over the caravans to the North Sea and the East Frisian Islands is great. From the campsite you can easily reach many beautiful villages on the coast or in the hinterland by bike. Bensersiel itself is best left out. Sustainability is trampled underfoot here. Unlike the other islands, the ferry from Bensersiel to Langeoog does not take any luggage. This is transported separately on a huge transport ship. We therefore saved ourselves the CO2 footprint of a trip to Langeoog. The hammer! The ADAC gives the campsite 4.5 stars, Campinginfo 5 stars. The site is very far from that. We were there three years ago, when the 5 stars were still justified. Obviously nothing has been invested in or repaired since then. The wifi is not available most of the time and when it is, it is absolutely unusable. At the beginning of October the place had a maximum of 20% occupancy. The only open wash house was hardly cleaned and is no longer 5 star standard. The pavement on the main driveway along the dyke is in such a state that I was worried about my oil pan despite driving at walking pace. If you come back from an excursion after 10 p.m., you either have to park your car outside Bensersiel or pay a €48 fine because you are not allowed to park at the harbor at night. The long walk from the parking lot to the parking space was out of the question for us for health reasons. There was no solution at reception because the area in front of the barrier has no parking spaces. 5 stars? Never. Not for that reason alone.

Welcome to the 5-star beach and family campsite in Bensersiel, directly on the North Sea coast! Discover the freedom of motorhome life at our charming motorhome site. Surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere, yet just a short walk from the lively …town centre, the site offers flat and well-kept pitches. We provide all the amenities you need for a perfect stay: From electricity connections and modern sanitary facilities to shopping opportunities at the nearby supermarket Markant, which is open for you in the low season with special opening hours. There are supply and disposal options on the side of the site. Right next to the pitches, you will find a fine sandy North Sea beach, our North Sea thermal baths and a spacious adventure playground. Dogs are allowed on the motorhome site. Our ‘Haus am Sommerdeich’ – restaurant, bistro and supermarket are open when the site is full. Please note the notice board. A highlight: spend the night in our sleeping beach chairs with a view of the Wadden Sea and let the sound of the sea lull you to sleep. Discover camping on the North Sea coast in East Frisia.
