The situation

I'm currently on this pitch, and apart from me there are 16 other motorhomes here, a total of 34 adults and some children. There is ONE toilet and ONE shower for each person, in a container and completely filthy. And all for 25 euros per person per night. I have attached photos, unfortunately I could neither use nor photograph the toilet because it was permanently occupied. Never again!
Unacceptable - never again
In view of the above, I would strongly advise against coming here unless you are so self-sufficient that you don't need a shower or toilet. In that case, however, the 25 euros per person per night is not a good offer

Perfect for sightseeing close to the city

Good place for Tartu
Gravel pitch located directly at the marina. Designed for approx. 16 caravans and motorhomes. Small meadow for tents. Quiet despite the location at the marina. The sanitary building is closed from 9 p.m. and only a single toilet is open. There is a shower in the sauna area. We were in Tartu at the end... of June. The site was occupied by 6 caravans or mobile homes so the showers were sufficient. About 10 minutes by bike to the interesting city center. Supermarket nearby.

Close to town, yet extremely quiet, well-kept campsite with good, clean sanitary facilities (double shower, sauna, toilet with small washbasin; 2nd toilet with large washbasin); electricity connections, chemical sink and fresh water tap available; the direct view of the river with many different ships... is very interesting; price-performance ratio ok; somewhat reserved, but not unfriendly young campsite employee; disadvantage from approx. 9 p.m. - approx. 9 a.m. the reception and thus the sanitary building is closed; then a mobile toilet is the toilet replacement. The reception and thus the sanitary building is closed, then a Mobi-Toilet is the toilet replacement; from the CP at the rear exit on foot on the main street in the direction of the old town (about 800 meters) you can see on the left side the absolutely recommendable restaurant "Hansa Hotel"; offers a great atmosphere and top typical dishes (see photos);

Perfect Parking for city sightseeing
Not a camp site, but a great parking area for one or two nights. All new and clean facilities. Located at a marina, about 2 km from Tartu center. Water, electricity, disposal - all nice and clean. Flat fee is 18 Euro which might be a lot for 2 people in a RV, but for us with a big family it was less... expensive than many other places. Sanitary facilities are only available when the café is open, but very clean and nice. Most vehicles may have their own WC on board anyway... Tip: Take the longest extension cords you have and park opposite to the outlets, facing the river!

No decent sanitary facilities at night
Centrally located
Tartu is a city worth seeing. And the place is ideal for a city tour. It has a cheap washing machine and washer-dryer (3€). The only disadvantage is that the building in which the shower and toilet are located usually closes at 7 pm and opens at 9 am. At night there is only one chemical toilet on the pitch and it is not inviting. There is water and you can dispose of toilet and waste water. Perfect for 1 to 2 nights.
