- Uwe M.October 2018PozitivnoNice place with friendly staff Everything cleanNegativnoShowers cost extraSomewhere in the middle of nowhereWe stayed at the site for one night as we were passing through. The site is at the end of a small road, so you should follow the signs to the campsite if you are on Moorfield Lane. The site is quite far from the beaten track, but you will find peace and quiet here. The reception was very friendly and... went quickly and smoothly. We were accompanied to our allocated pitch and were able to choose between three neighboring pitches. Two adults, two dogs, caravan, car and electricity for 22 pounds is apparently a standard price in England in the low season, we paid that on almost every campsite on the round trip. Showers cost 20p for 4 minutes. The time and the water runs the moment the money is inserted. So take your clothes off beforehand and take an extra 20p with you to be on the safe side in case it's not enough. The site is very clean and structured. The pitches are gravelled, always two pitches next to each other and grass all around. The power columns are always centrally located for several pitches. Therefore, a longer cable may sometimes be necessary. Some of the pitches are very flat. On our pitch, the caravan was completely level straight away. On other pitches, however, I have seen that there was a wheel underneath. There are a few trees between the pitches, but they tend to be open spaces. Sat reception is therefore good. Wifi was no longer possible on our pitch (signal came in once and was immediately gone again). Sanitary building looks very good from the outside. Simple British standard inside. Clean and therefore OK (see also pictures) Shopping facilities in about 5km a Spar and in about 8km a Lidl. Otherwise the usual necessities at the reception. Also very suitable for dog owners, Dogywalk just outside the CP, on the site there is also a dog shower (outside). We felt very comfortable. Gladly againАутоматски преведено.
