"Great place...but... - The place is great! The staff are very friendly, from reception to the cleaning staff - top! Beautiful beach, fantastic pool area. Nice little "town center", everything excellently designed. Large pitches, we had electricity, water and waste water - perfect! The solution with the garbage containers (a little away from the parking spaces) was perfect. WLAN included and very good (where we were). However, the prices in the supermarket are "borderline", they are already prices like on the "Kö" or on the "Zeil"..... here we used grocery stores in the area.

"First vacation in France - My wife and I stayed at this campsite for 12 days with our dog Max. The whole site is very well maintained and the green areas are beautifully laid out. All the sanitary facilities are laid out differently and were cleaned regularly. The beach is wide and offers space for all guests with and without dogs. The reservation and registration went without a hitch. The pitches are very large and level and each pitch is enclosed by hedges. All the staff are very friendly and courteous. There is a small supermarket which was quite empty at our time, as well as a bakery and other small stores. We ate in the restaurant once, the pizza was good and reasonably priced. The indoor area has more of a station hall character and probably a high noise level when fully occupied. The swimming pool is very well maintained and nicely laid out. The village of Canet was no longer very busy when we were there and all the stalls on the beach were either gone or had been dismantled. The place reminded me more of Ballermann and the restaurants on the beach promenade were separated by a road and didn't look very appealing. There are very nice cycle paths in the area to reach surrounding villages such as Saint Cyprien, Perpignan or Collioure. The resort is rather noisy during the day as there are many families with children or adolescents on site due to the many activities on offer. In our time there were a lot of Swiss people with children on site. The only disadvantage of this very nice campsite is the immediate surroundings. We felt very comfortable and can recommend the campsite without reservation.
