- Petra W.April 2022PositivaProximity to the mountains, close to Tegernsee, Walchensee, Kochelsee, Bad Tölz, Munich beautiful small campsiteNegativaThe sanitary facilities were not cleaned regularly.beautiful with dogA really nice, quiet campsite with a friendly operator. We stayed there for three weeks and never got bored, even though the weather wasn't great. Only the daily changing motorhomes disturbed the peace and quiet.
The surrounding area is fantastic for hiking. There are also many excursion possibilities... within a relatively short distance.
There are hiking opportunities up into the mountains but also in flatter regions and everything is well signposted.
Once you have walked about 500 m along the access road, you can walk your dog in all directions.
The Arzbacher Hof with its regional cuisine is highly recommended.
The only downside was the sanitary facilities, which were not cleaned daily. We were lucky that the site was fairly empty, but when it is full there are bound to be problems with the number of showers and toilets.
In any case, this site is well worth a visit.Automatiskt översatt. - Tanja R.July 2020PositivaBeautiful location in the foothills of the AlpsNegativaLots of changes on the pitch. Not really "orderly".Unfortunately a lot of through trafficAfter changing pitches at the campsite, things got better. Before we had different neighbors every day with slamming doors or palaver until the middle of the night (cigarette smoke too). Sanitary facilities ok. Gastronomy delicious and plentiful. Hosts very nice and always helpful. Some pitches very small, others larger. Overall a small family campsite in a good location for many excursions.Automatiskt översatt.
- Martin P.July 2020PositivaFriendliness of the operator and the entire staff. Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities and the whole site. The location and tranquillity of the site.NegativaNoneVery good campsiteWe stayed at the campsite for 9 days and it was wonderful. Already on arrival we were received very friendly by Thomas. As the pitch we chose had not yet been vacated by the previous camper, we were offered a coffee to shorten the waiting time.
The pitch was under a tree so we had some shade. The nearest... electricity box was also not far away. In the evening we visited the Arzbacher Hof which belongs to the campsite. The menu is plentiful and I must say I have not eaten as well as there for a long time. On Tuesdays there is pork knuckle which is probably one of the best in Bavaria.
For us the stay was very pleasant because the sanitary facilities were always very clean.
The place is to be recommended and we will definitely come back.Automatiskt översatt. - Thomas G.June 2020PositivaClean campsite Sanitary facilities are cleaned at least three times a day Delicious food in the restaurantNegativaRelatively many permanent campers small but still cozyNice clean place nice hostReally nice boss on the square in the restaurant delicious food for every budgetAutomatiskt översatt.
- Raphaela S.August 2019PositivaLocation was great. Outdoor pool nearby, but we didn't use it because of bad weather.NegativaUnfriendly owners. Restaurant more important than camping guests.Campsite owner unfriendlyIt was actually only planned to stay 1 night on this campsite, but we had a car breakdown on arrival someone from Bad Tölz was so kind and drove us the caravan there anyway. The owner looked so funny because we said it could take until Friday (we arrived on Sunday). The workshops were full. And on Tuesday... she repeated that we had to leave the site by Friday at the latest. Super, great vacation! A friendly permanent camper was kind enough to drive our caravan to the Demmelhof campsite, where we were given a more than friendly welcome!!! The main focus was the Arzbacher Hof restaurant. Found it a bit rude to throw campers off the site in an emergency situation!!!Automatiskt översatt.
- Peter N.August 2018PositivaLocation, child-friendly,NegativaGeneral condition lovingly improvedSmall and beautifully situatedGood location, between Bad Tölz and Lenggries. With outdoor pool, getting on in years but great with swimming in the Arzbach. To the campsite, sanitary, a bit unclean, 3 days no soap in the dispenser on the toilet and only superficially cleaned. Waste garbage can littered with maggots, disgusting. The place needs a loving hand to maintain. Food good and very friendly staffAutomatiskt översatt.
- Arno F.May 2018PositivaSmall and cozyNegativaunfortunately very dirty !Small campsite unfortunately very dirty!Actually you could make more out of this Cp, but I had the feeling that the main focus was on the restaurant. And you can tell that especially from the DRUGGY sanitary facilities. won't be coming back for that reason.Automatiskt översatt.
- Manfred O.May 2018PositivaSpontaneous arrival possible.very friendly.humane prices.bread service.quiet location with views of the surrounding mountains.NegativaToilets are getting on in years, showers have been renovated but more should be done for hygiene.3 nights in MayI arrived spontaneously for 3 nights in the Wowa without reservation and was no problem, had free choice of place. The place has a very quiet location on the outskirts, then only meadows, I could sleep very well and relax. The owners were very nice and friendly, helpful. The pitches are partly gravel... and grass, there are plenty of power points, nice big trees that provide shade and the Arzbach runs along the edge of the site. if the campsite were more central in the mountains, it would be my favorite for mountain biking.Unfortunately, the place is very dark at night if you have to visit the sanitary facilities (flashlight with).the shower machine must be fed with 1 €, but this is sufficient (about 5 minutes).order forms for bread rolls in the evening in the mailbox.pick up in the morning at the registration. Unfortunately 50% of the site is occupied by permanent campers.Automatiskt översatt.
- Norbert W.April 2018PositivaFriendly reception (without reservation), free choice of seats, quiet, the food very good, also the staff very friendly, the owner, so according to the motto "fill yourself up, do what you want "NegativaNoneThis is "camping"Quiet, very friendly owner, all relaxed no rules, rest easyAutomatiskt översatt.
- Willi H.September 2017PositivaNear Bad Tölz . Very good food here.NegativaUnfortunately the cobwebs in the men's toilets were not removed despite being pointed out several times. Shower rooms too small.1 week in September 2017Very nice place and is located near Bad Tölz. Food very good !!!Pitches small.Automatiskt översatt.
- Herbert W.September 2016PositivaGood cuisine, cleanliness, friendlinessNegativano significantAlmost like at homeWe were only passing through for one night, but felt very comfortable. Friendly staff, good food in the site's own restaurant. The somewhat narrow access road shouldn't be a problem.Automatiskt översatt.
- Patrick F.August 2016PositivaNo strict regulations and it still works!NegativaNone in sight. The campsite is fun.The site is relatively small and also has small pitches - but enough for 12-meter caravans or motorhomes. The Linke family, who run the site, make every effort to make the stay as pleasant as possible for their guests. The restaurant on the site is highly recommended - everything is delicious! There... is a bread roll service and the rest can be bought in Lenggries or Bad Tölz, about 5 km away. The Isar valley is accessible on both sides of the river and there are plenty of cycle paths. The Isar is an ideal bathing paradise for dogs (and people) - and you wouldn't believe it - everything is clean - NO garbage - just clear water! Best regards from the Westerwald to the Linke family - we'll be back next year.Automatiskt översatt.
- Hubert S.October 2015no longerWe were here briefly at the beginning of October on this site, which is characterized by permanent campers, and I would like to give my impression here. the access to the site is very narrow and the driveways on the site are also very narrow, making access to the otherwise good pitches somewhat difficult... due to the high trees with overhanging branches that rub on the car roof. setting up and aligning the satellite dish is not made any easier. The sanitary facilities were not particularly clean and the kitchenette was very dirty. the showers cost €1 and were completely inadequately heated at outside temperatures in the low 1-digit range. the absolute negative highlight is the room for toilet disposal. In my 30 years of camping career I have never experienced such a dirty and smelly chemical toilet drain.spa card was not available even on request despite paid tourist tax.I can not say anything about the restaurant because we have not visited it.conclusion: The place is just b i l l i g nothing else.we will avoid him in the future großraümig. richly heated.Automatiskt översatt.
- Inge M.August 2015Positivaclean, sanitary facilities new and very nice, very tasty restaurant on siteNegativanoneVery nice campsiteWe came here by chance and will now spend our entire 3 week vacation here. Very nice place, nice people, very informal. This was not the last time we were here. We will be back :-))Automatiskt översatt.
- Jürgen N.January 2015PositivaSimply nice peopleNegativanoneSimply topWe were in Arzbach for the first time over the weekend. You rarely find so much hospitality here. We were particularly impressed by the restaurant. We are already planning our next visit.Automatiskt översatt.
- Volker S.August 2014PositivaBeautiful and quiet no traffic, inn Arzbacher Hof highly recommendedNegativaThere was no bread service in summer, even in August you had to drive 1.5 km into the villageBeautiful place on the ArzbachIt is a beautiful place and is not far from Bad Tölz and Lengries will definitely come by againAutomatiskt översatt.
- Sascha v.July 2014simply nice and quietThere were five of us there (two adults and three small children) it was great, everyone was very friendly and helpful for the children there was connection and play opportunities and for us peace and relaxation Gladly againAutomatiskt översatt.
- Manfred W.July 2014Beautiful but chaoticCamping site itself was nice. Staff quite overworked as apparently the groundsman is also the cook for the restaurant and therefore doesn't really have time for the new guests (if you arrive at mealtime). The showers were fairly new but had a coin-operated machine that had to be fed with one euro to... shower. However, this was not mentioned either when booking or in the price list and the groundskeeper (KOCH) had no time or interest in pointing this out. Changing small change in the restaurant outside reception opening hours is only possible with gritted teeth. Otherwise our weekend trip was nice.Automatiskt översatt.
- Steffi S.May 2014Positivaclean, friendly, good and quiet locationThe campsite is located away from the road and is quiet. The recently (spring 2014) redesigned pitches are very nice. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and clean. There is also a disabled toilet and a baby changing room. The sanitary facilities are also accessible with a baby carriage. Since... recently (FY 2014) there is also WLAN on the site for a fee. The on-site restaurant "Arzbacher Hof" is highly recommended. You can eat really well there. To make sure you get a seat on Sunday lunchtime, we recommend reserving a table. The outdoor pool is just a few minutes' walk from the campsite. In winter, it's just a few minutes' drive to Brauneck for skiing. Cross-country ski trails are also not far away. There is a large playground for children and a table tennis table is also available.Automatiskt översatt.
