- Christel M.July 2024PositivaLots of shade due to location in the forest, atmosphere of the site, water playground, swimming poolNegativaexpensive, but we knew that beforehandnice quiet place and paradise for childrenOur reserved pitch was unfortunately very ploughed up, but we were given another comfort pitch without any problems and it was fantastic.
It was a very nice vacation that we will remember for a long time.Automatiskt översatt. - Jan H.April 2023PositivaGreat place with unique colorful parceling on several levels Everything the (children's) heart desiresNegativaCleanliness of the sanitary facilities could be significantly improvedGreat family place!A total family site with everything that makes children's hearts beat faster. I don't think there was a pitch on this long Easter weekend that wasn't occupied by at least one child... It was correspondingly busy, but it was great. The entertainment team put on a great Easter program, even in German,... which was really good!
One downside was the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, especially the central "Bultjes" building. It wasn't nice there from the afternoon onwards. The operator knows that the site is fully booked, so 1-2 additional cleaning shifts would have been appropriate.
The new spray park was already recognizable and promises to be a lot of fun once it opens!Automatiskt översatt. - Holger M.March 2023PositivaVariety of offersNegativaWLAN and TV reception, not enough multilingual signagegreat for 1 weekWe were there before Easter 2023 at the start of the season. We rented a pitch with a private bathroom and didn't regret it: small but clean, modern and heated, the washbasin can also be used as a sink. Cleaning kit, dustpan and dustpan were also provided.
The indoor pool was very full at the weekend... because many day guests also come. Due to baby swimming etc., the opening hours are sometimes limited in the afternoon, but you can adjust to this because an app indicates the current and upcoming opening hours. This app is virtually mandatory, e.g. to enter the pool using facial recognition or to open the door to the private pool.
The indoor playground is really amazing, we've never seen anything like it on a campsite before. The outdoor play facilities are also fantastic, with plenty on offer for children up to primary school age. The water playground in the middle of the site must be great in summer!
The supermarket was open half day, there were fresh bread rolls, but no fresh food yet. You can get everything from the Dutch deep fryer in the snack bar next to the indoor playground, also by pre-order for collection (but only by klarna etc., no paypal, EC, SEPA or similar). TV reception: you camp in a forest, so satellite reception is a bit of a matter of luck. You can get 7 analog Dutch channels via the antenna connection at the campsite. WLAN reception was poor for us, we were at the edge of the pitch and the transmitter was right behind our bathroom.
Traffic noise: There is a highway that you can clearly hear to the east of the campsite.
The guests were half Dutch/German. The campsite could have paid more attention to bilingual signs, and in the submenus of the app you always end up on purely Dutch pages where you can't always make sense of the content. At least English-language information for foreign tourists should be a matter of course in Europe.Automatiskt översatt. - Sven H.September 2020PositivaCleanliness, friendliness, child-friendly, wellness area,NegativaPerhaps also the descriptions more German / EnglishUniqueWe found a clean and well organized campsite.
The ladies at the registration desk were friendly and courteous. They also tried to speak German if you can't speak Dutch. There is not even a supermarket, such as bread rolls, on the site.
The campsite itself is very child-friendly, with a large playground....
There are also other possibilities to pass boredom, indoor play hall, swimming pool, sauna, salt cave, mini golf.
The sanitary facilities were all clean and tidy.
We will definitely go there again.Automatiskt översatt. - Björn K.October 2019PositivaMany different play options. Microwave is free of charge. WE WILL BE BACKNegativaNarrow access roads to the pitches. Prescribed direction for setting up the caravan/tent. Dog waste bins are missing.child-friendly placeWe would love to come back. A place for every season. There are many possibilities for young and old to have fun. (Swimming pool, wellness, fitness room, etc.)Automatiskt översatt.
- Holger N.May 2019Positiva- quiet location - ideal with childrenNegativaThe narrowness of the paths and the parking lot outside the park.RecommendedWe were there as a family with two children. The leisure facilities were all great and as described. The pitches are a bit narrow and sometimes you felt like you were in the middle of the forest, which was no problem with a mover. Satellite reception rather not possible. The WLAN left a lot to be desired. The supermarket with normal camping prices but everything available.Automatiskt översatt.
- Jan H.May 2019PositivaLeisure facilities Great location and facilitiesNegativalittle, maybe the nearby highway that you can hear in the eveningGreat family place with an unusual locationWe were there over Easter and will definitely be back! Typical Dutch family campsite with a nice fun pool for the kids, indoor hall and lots of playgrounds. Although the campsite was fully booked over Easter, (almost) everything was always very clean. The exception was the changing rooms in the swimming... pool, which were regularly quite dirty from the afternoon onwards. The new climbing hall is great, as is the large water playground, a dream for kids! The location of the pitches is unusual, the site is in the forest and is very winding. There are also pitches that are higher up. We really liked it, it's something different! Typically Dutch, and what we always like is that you stand in a circle and each circle has a small playground in the middle.Automatiskt översatt.
- Martin B.April 2019PositivaGreat play options for children HUGE playing fieldNegativafrom time to time the noise of the road which is about 1km away, depending on the wind Access with a large caravan a bit narrow at timesGreat place for childrenWe were there over Easter and our two kids (8 and 1) enjoyed the site. Pitch 373 was right next to the large playground. The playground was simply huge and great, with a water pool, climbing facilities and a large sandpit all around. Other leisure activities on site: various playgrounds with different... climbing and play equipment, indoor and outdoor pool, mini golf, 2 football pitches, indoor playground and indoor climbing garden (only when accompanied by an adult) and canoe rental. Sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day, we had to charge the chip for showering once, but everything was uncomplicated, we got the rest back on departure. Staff at reception and elsewhere were also very friendly and helpful. The only drawback in our eyes was that you could hear the highway well at our pitch at times. We only used the restaurant once, prices for the portions were quite expensive, but that's the way it is in such facilities. Shopping facilities were also nearby (Ommen). We liked it and it certainly wasn't the last time we were there.Automatiskt översatt.
- Daniel M.April 2019PositivaEasy to reach from our home, great play opportunities for the children, great for cyclingNegativaHeating has been defectiveGreat Easter vacationWe were in Beerze Bulten for the first time over Easter, the place has everything you need, supermarket, swimming pool, mini golf course, a small swimming lake with climbing facilities, a small playground in every street. Sanitary facilities were cleaned regularly, which was not so nice, the heating in the toilet rooms Aard broke down on Saturday and had not been repaired by the time we left.Automatiskt översatt.
- Melanie B.September 2018PositivaSwimming pool and indoor playground great. Especially in rainy weather!NegativaFrom 8:30 p.m., it seems to be quiet for children and adults. You are only allowed to talk in a whisper!Night's rest from 8:30 pm?Generally a great campsite. Pitch, swimming pool etc all great. But: We were reminded 2 evenings in a row to please be quieter. On the second evening already at 20:30 because the child in the neighboring caravan would like to sleep ... We had small children with us who were still playing outside. The... adults were talking at room volume. Without music! In the awning! Sorry if this is not possible on a campsite at 8:30 pm then this is not for us! Unfortunately not again here!Automatiskt översatt.
- Dirk N.May 2018PositivaCar-free, great locationNegativaOutdoor pool unheated.Great place with everything you need (and more...)We were there at Whitsun 2018 with 5 caravans. The pitches are great; in the middle of the forest; criss-cross, yet orderly. Electricity, water, waste water, TV, everything available on the pitch. Tip: Be careful under the trees, they sometimes have cones or acorns that can bang on the caravan (dents).... The swimming pool is fun, the outdoor pool could be warmer (unheated). The sanitary blocks are a bit older, but were always tip-top clean during my visits.Automatiskt översatt.
- Julia R.March 2018PositivaIncomparable indoor playgroundNegativaSanitary badly heated and really badly cleaned!Beautiful campsite with lots of leisure activitiesI can only rate the campsite in the low season, we were there over Easter 2018. We were there from the 1st day the campsite was open. About 2 weeks before Easter. The site was well attended but not fully booked. When we arrived, we realized that we couldn't even drive to our pitch because a group of... Dutch people had parked their building materials there to build a whole house next door. But even if we had, the pitch was at the top of a hill, which I didn't realize when I made the booking, and far too small for our 8m caravan... I had pointed out the size when booking, but it was fine. Luckily we got another pitch without any complications. However, it has to be said that driving on the pitch is adventurous and extremely narrow. Not everyone made it to their pitch without an accident during our stay. The path lighting was not switched on at all at first. It wasn't until the Easter weekend, when the pitch was really full, that there were lights at night. The first shower the day after arriving at the Bultje sanitary block was freezing cold. For everyone! I complained about the lack of hot water at reception, but unfortunately there was only a response two days later in the form of a sign and repair work. The sanitary block was also badly heated in other respects, simply freezing cold. We used the newer sanitary block, I think Bibi. Quite nice in itself, but unfortunately it was really poorly cleaned. There were very few toilets, which were always dirty except in the morning. We mostly used our toilet in the caravan, which we never actually do. This state of affairs really ruined our vacation. More toilets were opened at Easter, but it still wasn't any cleaner. The swimming pool was actually not usable at all. It was still being rebuilt. The toddler area couldn't be used for over a week and the large pool was freezing cold! When the toddler area was finished, it was also freezing cold. We weren't the only ones complaining about this. Due to the renovation work, the door to the outside shower area was constantly open, so this area was also freezing cold, my children were freezing and crying after bathing because they couldn't even shower in the warm water.... The water playground is beautifully laid out and really invites you to play, unfortunately at Easter it seemed that not all the equipment had been serviced and some of it was broken. It was a shame, but that didn't really improve our overall impression of the site. There was hardly any animation program, which we didn't really need, except on the Easter weekend. But it is advertised and you pay for it. What's really great is the indoor playground, I don't know of anything comparable on campsites and it was the absolute highlight for our kids!!! We also really enjoyed the bowling alley! But unfortunately that's the only thing! As I said, maybe everything looks better in the high season, but I can't judge that here, so we can't recommend this campsite.Automatiskt översatt.
- Emma S.March 2018Positiva-great playgrounds and an ingenious indoor playgroundNegativa-Sanitary facilities were dirty during our staybeautiful leisure facilities, partly exciting pitch locationWe were on this pitch over Easter. The site was well frequented and the nearest sanitary building was permanently dirty and smelly. Pitch location partly very exciting. Partly hard to reach as they are on the hill. With a 2.5m caravan sometimes very narrow access. Cars are only allowed on the site for... arrival and departure, which is a dream for children. There are trolleys everywhere with which you can cart your shopping. Great playground, super indoor playground. Small playgrounds dotted around the site. Indoor pool only has a hairdryer above the changing table in the entrance. No power sockets available. Nice slides. Hardly possible to shower with children and the chip. Get advice on the pitches. That's better.Automatiskt översatt.
- Cathrin G.March 2018PositivaChild-friendly Bad weather friendly Quiet location despite the size of the pitchNegativaShowering and washing with childrenBeautiful vacation with childrenGreat place, especially with children, as there are small playgrounds everywhere within sight. Nevertheless, there are also deductions, showering with children is almost impossible because you only get one chip for the whole family, so everyone has to take turns. There are no working hairdryers in the... swimming pool, which is really stupid in bad weather, and there are no sockets. Lots of open cables from fire alarms directly above the changing area. I simply expect more from a 5* hotel. The indoor play world and the large playground are great, everyone gets their money's worth here. We wouldn't come back again.Automatiskt översatt.
- Erik S.October 2017PositivaIndoor and outdoor options Car-freeNegativaAcorns destroy caravan roof Far too many trees Very narrow pathsAcorns destroy caravan roofThe pitch has a lot of trees. We were allocated a pitch where there were very tall oak trees. We didn't pay attention to this when we arrived. (There were many more free) During our stay, acorns kept falling onto the roof with a loud bang. (Fortunately not on someone's head) When we swept the roof clean,... there were many and sometimes deep dents in the roof. We reported this to reception and were asked to take photos and send them an email to find a solution together. We then took photos on site and left. At home we cleaned the roof and took photos again. Then we wrote the email and sent it off. Despite repeated reminders, there was no reply for months! After the 4th reminder, a representative inadvertently replied that the administration would not be back until Monday and would get in touch then. Of course, she didn't get in touch. After another reminder, I finally got an answer: "Can't do anything".... Great solution for both sides. I could have saved myself the effort from the start, then I would only have been half annoyed. Now we have a dented roof and that's the biggest memory of BeerzeBulten.Automatiskt översatt.
- Marc R.June 2017PositivaPerfect leisure opportunitiesReally great for childrenEverything a child's heart desires. However, there were a few things I didn't like so much: pitches were sometimes chaotic and cramped, there were lots of seasonal campers, so the grass was high and weathered, some caravans and tents were broken here and there, the paths to and from the campsite were... narrow, the sanitary facilities were good but some of the cabins were quite cramped, there was hardly any water pressure in the showers and what I didn't like at all was that there was a lot of garbage lying around in and near the water in the large outdoor water playground. All in all, of course, it's a matter of taste and my son loved it, but I wouldn't necessarily go there again.Automatiskt översatt.
- Jessica W.October 2016PositivaSwimming pool and indoor pool included in the price. Slagharen amusement park not far away, perfect for a day trip.Negativanot set to german !!!Fall vacation was nice, but...Fortunately, we (a couple with a 6-year-old child) were there with a couple of friends with a child of the same age. Despite the fact that it was the German fall vacations, there was hardly another German car to be seen. Keyword car, the entire CP is car-free, you can park in to the Wowa or unload the... tent and then the car has to go out to a parking lot. Great for children! The large water play lake was also great for the kids. The indoor swimming pool and the indoor playground were also great. The CP is in the middle of nowhere, so to speak. As the cycle paths are so great in Holland, you could cycle to the nearest places. The supermarket has very strange opening hours despite German vacations (well, when there are hardly any Germans around). Bread rolls only to order. Fresh produce very spartan. The entertainment was also only in Dutch. As a German, you don't feel very welcome because the campsite is so close to the border. If you want to get away from the campsite, you can spend a day at the Slagharen theme park, which is not far away.Automatiskt översatt.
- Thomas B.October 2016PositivaPrice/performance, swimming pool/sauna, playgrounds, cycle pathsNegativaOlder sanitary facilities,A week of relaxation, but...We spent a week here during the fall break in Lower Saxony. Positive things first. We were greeted very nicely by Amanda at reception and were always helped immediately with any questions. The indoor pool and the sauna area were visited by our children almost every day, even though it was closed at times,... as already described here. Well organized, we still had the opportunity to go swimming or use the sauna every day. The pitches are a good size, but are sometimes difficult to reach because, as you can't see on the map, some of them are elevated. There are quiet areas or you can stand right next to the large and fantastic water playground. It gets really busy here in summer. I can't say anything about the indoor playground, our children have only been there once and said it was okay. It's all a question of taste. We can't rate the entertainment either, but we don't use it very often anyway. We are on a family vacation and not a children's vacation! The price-performance ratio is good, sauna for two people/week for 20€ is hard to beat. Negatives: The sanitary facilities in our area were functional, mostly clean, but also a bit older. This can be seen from the 4-digit zip codes of the German manufacturer of the partition walls. If they weren't, it wasn't the fault of the cleaning staff but the user. The supermarket was almost always closed. We ordered bread rolls once, but to ask so much money for ALDI baked rolls is almost a cheek. In about 3 km, in Marienburg, is a Spar market with better rolls etc.! We didn't eat in the restaurant, either because it was closed or because Dutch food is not to our taste.Automatiskt översatt.
- Jutta K.October 2016PositivaBeautiful playgroundNegativaAnimation only in Dutch You don't feel welcome as a German.Germans not welcomeWe were there in fall 2015 and 2016. We really liked it in 2015. Great animation, beautiful place. We then booked a place again for fall 2016. But this time we were very disappointed. We were looking forward to great entertainment again. Unfortunately, there wasn't any for us this year, as there were... no vacations in the Netherlands. We were just lucky that the Dutch were on vacation with us in 2015. The program is only offered for the Dutch. On the day of departure, we took a look at the program for the following week, when the Dutch are on vacation. There is 4 times as much on offer. You get the impression that Germans are not very welcome. In the week we were there in 2016, the swimming pool was closed on 4 days from 4pm to 7pm. The supermarket was only open for a short time in the morning. You could get food in the Konijnenhol until 7 pm. The following week the swimming pool is not even closed, the supermarket is also open in the afternoon and you can eat until 8pm. It's really disappointing when you pay the same as the Dutch and don't get half as much as they do. I don't think we'll be back in a hurry, as Germans we didn't feel welcome. It's a shame really, as the campsite is so close to the border. It only took us half an hour to get there.Automatiskt översatt.
