The campsite is beautifully situated on the beach.
Negativa
The operator Richard is arrogant and unfriendly. Staff is overwhelmed with everything. Lots of garbage that nobody clears away. Outdated facilities.
We did not get a paid house tent.
We had booked and paid for a house tent on the beach. On arrival we were told that no house tent was available. They just left us there with two children and after a long journey from Hamburg. We then looked for a temporary pitch on the campsite and asked for our house tent every day. One was supposed... to be set up for us, but after that there was no response. The owner is arrogant and absolutely rude. His statement regarding our complaint: we should be happy to be here at all, as we had to postpone our vacation for a year because of Corona.
Now we have to sue for the money we have already paid in court.
Unfortunately, we can only agree with all the other negative reviews. Too bad, because the campsite is otherwise very nice.

Directly on the beach
On the most beautiful beach of Öland, unfortunately there is garbage around and the place is not very clean.sanitary facilities outdated and dark.taps are scarce electricity okay.

Great location on the sandy beach, unfortunately algae in the water and in unfavorable wind/weather conditions it smells very strong on the beach. There was an inflatable play animal in the water for the children, which was very popular. Cocktail bar on the beach, nice and simple. Pitches available from... large to small, football pitch, pony rides and quad biking for children. Small store on the site. However, we went to the small bakery about 500 m away in the morning - highly recommended. Sanitary facilities: far too few showers, so cleanliness is not ideal. All in all, the wash houses are not nice. But the rest of the complex in the forest is nice, friendly staff.

Been here for the first time 19 years ago
We've been here on and off for 19 years, but it's been 9 years since our last stay. The sanitary facilities, which were already poor back then, have not changed. The manager has changed in the meantime. We had the impression that the site is managed rather listlessly. Waste disposal very much in need... of improvement. The actually beautiful beach was in an unkempt condition. The pitches are very poorly marked and hardly recognizable. Unfortunately a lot of car traffic on the relatively small site. The price-performance ratio is not right, too expensive for such a place, I also don't understand the 4 stars, we have already experienced much better 3-star places. Well, we just wanted to come back here after a few years, but I don't think we will again.

CP on a great beach in beautiful natural surroundings. Very ambivalent impression. Uninterested and incompetent service. Allegedly free pitches were occupied. Never arrive without booking, Öland is very full, noisy and actually overcrowded here. Sanitary facilities are very tight and only functional.... Water without pressure, communal problem. Some pitches are much more generously occupied, the rest are cramped and noisy. Reasonably priced by Böda standards.
