Sanitary facilities abandoned and poorly maintained. A place to empty the chemical toilet - a, useless, despite the fact that it exists. Access road into the campsite, gravel, which creates a lot of dust, no speed limit. We stood with a view of the Una - fantastic. We were greeted very nicely by the campsite manager and invited for a Slivovitz, with minimal knowledge of German ;-) We were there in June 2019, still low season, so unfortunately the restaurant... wasn't really open yet and we didn't get to enjoy the great trout, which everyone there was full of praise for. However, the site manager made a goulash soup if required. We also made use of the rafting opportunities on site and did a 6-hour rafting tour to Strbacki Buk, which was really wild and not without its challenges (I flew out of the boat). A pitch by the river promises a natural idyll and the extremely friendly Bosniaks and local staff make you feel very welcome. We are traveling with a small baby, which always brings a smile to the faces of the locals in Bosnia and also here... at the campsite. The toilets and showers could certainly do with a little freshening up, but the condition is absolutely ok and cleanliness is taken care of properly. We were very satisfied. The only reason for deducting one star is that plums were being cooked at the time, accompanied by loud music, so you can't really think of having a quiet evening. Ideally located for starting rafting tours and activities in the Una National Park, but not so much for swimming directly at the campsite because the water is very shallow. We received a very friendly and courteous welcome and were greeted with a schnapps. If you like, you can end the day on a small terrace with beer, wine, ... in the evening. The sanitary... facilities are absolutely ok and adequate, are cleaned regularly and even when brushing your teeth you have a clear view of the Una. However, the disposal point for the camping toilet was a bit adventurous (a hole at the end of the campsite with a lid on it). On the other hand, the groundsman likes to drive his small quad bike to the chemical toilet as a service and dispose of it himself :-) In Kulen Vakuf you can choose between two restaurants - to the left and right of the bridge - with absolutely moderate prices. They speak English and German. There are two small supermarkets in the village with a sufficient range of everyday goods (open Mon-Sun 07.00 - 22.00). The Martin Brod (15km) and Strbacki Bug (20km) waterfalls can be reached by bike from the campsite - both highly recommended!!! Wonderful landscape with very little tourist traffic! The campsite operator also offers kayaking and rafting tours on the Una, but these tours are quite expensive... All in all, we can only warmly recommend this campsite to anyone who is looking for a little peace and quiet and beautiful scenery, here you can still really relax, (still) a real insider tip...Automatiskt översatt.- Bärbel H.September 2016PositivaLocationNegativanoneIdyllic place in the Una National ParkWhile in neighboring Croatia the crowds throng the Plitvice Lakes and Krka Waterfalls (both not far away), the Una National Park is largely unknown and unvisited. This may be due to a lack of marketing or poor infrastructure (horrible bumpy roads, e.g. the approach to Strbacki Buk waterfall or the Kulen... Vakuf - Martin Brod connection)..... Too bad, because the nature is unique. Crystal clear river, emerald green in many places, impressive waterfalls, many old watermills....... The campsite is located approx. 1 km from Kulen Vakuf on a particularly beautiful section of the Una. Meadow area directly on the river. There is a rustic lounge with a bar. Cozy. The wash houses are simple (something was wrong with the hot water supply), but clean and okay.... Friendly operator! In Kulen Vakuf, 10 minutes away, there are shops and two or three restaurants.....Automatiskt översatt.

The small waterfall right next to the campsite creates a wonderful soundscape. The food in the restaurant tastes very good and the operators are extremely friendly and courteous. As has often been described, the sanitary facilities are very basic, but clean. The formalities were sorted out within a few minutes, and as we had traveled a long way from Schleswig-Holstein, we were treated to a homemade schnapps! This is the right place for anyone who appreciates... such a warm welcome! The site is very quiet, apart from the constant noise of the Una. The sanitary facilities are basic but clean. You have the option to "sign up" for dinner, in which case the family cooks really delicious local specialties at really moderate prices! The son organizes rafting trips on request. All in all, a simple, nature-loving place with very nice operators, where you immediately feel at home! We would love to come back!Automatiskt översatt.

It's a place of allmost untouched nature,and that's why it's still in my good memory. The river UNA is absolutely amazing,and one of the things that impressed me the most is,the spring of river UNA is one of the biggest... springs in Europe!
