    Good for visiting Taomina and Mount Etna
    We like the non-parceled pitch. It's simple but adequate and clean. However, there's nothing going on now in mid-June. We made two excursions. One by scooter to Taomina and the other to Mount Etna. In Taomina I can recommend the highest restaurant Al Saraceno under Taormina Castle. Very good food main...

    Stopover campsite
    Perfect for a few days. The distance to the sea is not great for a campsite, so not suitable for swimmers and water rats. However, the site is suitable for excursions in the surrounding area. Such as Etna. The staff are friendly and helpful, there's nothing wrong with them. The sanitary facilities could definitely be kept in better shape.

    Clean and well maintained
    The campground is only 450 m from the sea in a quiet location. The facilities, while not brand new, are well-maintained and clean. Hot showers are free of charge. There is also a small store for necessities. The staff is friendly and helpful.

    Sufficiently large pitches with partial shade; sanitary facilities in order; good starting point for visiting Etna and Taormina (bus connection directly in front of the campsite if booked in advance); distance to the sea and beach 600m; restaurant closed in October; dogs can sometimes be heard barking in the rear part of the campsite;

    San Marco, Campeggio Almoetia
    Quite a nice campsite, the facilities were not state of the art, but slightly above average by Sicilian standards. Camping pleasant, a lot of greenery compared to other campsites in Sicily, good location for trips to the surrounding area (Taormina, Etna..). The cantina at the campsite was poorly stocked, at most you could buy popsicles.

    This campsite is open all year round. Well suited for excursions to Taormina and around Mount Etna. There is plenty of space in the low season. Unfortunately, contrary to the information in the camping guide, the restaurant on site was closed. Bread rolls for breakfast can still be ordered. View of Mount Etna, a pleasant place at this time of year.

    Quite decent sanitary facilities by Sicilian standards. Beautiful pitches. Restaurant also open in the low season. Bus to Taormina directly in front of the campsite.
