- Andreas K.May 2022PositivaConvenient location, huge shopping center within walking distance, friendly staff, beautiful trees, good wifi reception (room 73)NegativaConvenient location, traffic noiseOld! Unfortunately not used the time...I had hoped that the operators of this campsite would have used the Corona period since the last evaluation in 2019 to carry out extensive renovations. We were sorely disappointed. In addition to the totally run-down sanitary building, the worn-out gravel paths and open electricity boxes, the unkempt pitches and the dirty shore area prompted us to leave the site after one night and take the short route to Milan...Automatiskt översatt.
- Dominic M.April 2019PositivaClose to the highway and SpermarktNegativaRather small pitches and some old sanitary facilities.Take a short break at the lakeThe campsite is mostly occupied by permanent campers. I can't confirm that they are unfriendly (as described on another portal) - just greet them in Italian and you'll be fine. There are also some bungalows and pitches. These have a grass floor and are more suitable for small caravans / camper vans.... The beach is more of a large sandpit, while the water itself is a white beach. The site itself is clean and well maintained. The same applies to the sanitary facilities - although the latter are a few years old. The village of Dermoletto itself doesn't have much to offer. There is a large supermarket and DIY store in the immediate vicinity. The train station is also within walking distance.Automatiskt översatt.
- Yvonne P.August 2013We were there for a week with a tent, had good weather and the pitch is big enough for a car and a large tent. It is a family-run business and the campsite is not large. The staff are all nice. There are mainly permanent campers on site. The sanitary facilities are still partly outdated. And could be... a bit cleaner. The beach is very small and not sand but stones! In the evening it is very loud for a long time, children from 8-17 years are there until the morning and are very loud. The campsite is also unguarded, which will change next year, according to the operator. Otherwise Arona is very interesting, it's 4 km away. There is also a very large market there which is recommended. Shopping is within walking distance of the campsite. Bicycles can also be rented on the campsite. From Arona, you can also go on very interesting boat trips. The pizza in the small restaurant is also highly recommended. At lunchtime you can get a 3-course menu for 10 euros, also very tasty. So all in all, everything is very nice. Oh, and if you want to bring a dog, no problem.Automatiskt översatt.
- Beate W.July 2011A somewhat small campsite right on the lake. Very quiet despite its location on a busy road. The pitches are quite small for a caravan with awning and car. But ok for a camper van or tent. The site is mainly used by permanent campers. There are not many tourist pitches. As a result, it was very quiet... and empty on the beach during the week, but very busy at the weekend. Some of the sanitary facilities were new, but even the old part was always clean and well maintained. There is also a small restaurant on site. However, the town of Dormelletto is not very attractive, not to say purely unattractive. There is a huge supermarket nearby, which is also within easy walking distance.Automatiskt översatt.
