"Beautiful camping on a "Caribbean" beach - Camping Rondinara is a beautifully laid out campsite with a focus on families, close to Plage Rondinara, one of Corsica's most beautiful beaches. Situated between the towns of Bonifacio and Porto Vecchio, the campsite is quite "isolated in the sticks". Apart from the beach restaurant, there is nothing around it... There are two areas for campers/vans: an "open", unparceled, inexpensive area under tall eucalyptus trees (sometimes very close to the children's playground = noisy!) and a nicer, more expensive, parceled area under low olive trees (rather remote, quieter). There is also a restaurant/pizzeria and a fairly large supermarket on the site. The reception is perfectly English-speaking and professional. There is also a chic infinity pool on the site. The sanitary facilities are tidy and functional, but you shouldn't expect too much here either. Overall, there are a lot of (German) families with small children here in the low season, which creates a specific background noise ("Jan-Phillip, please give Marie-Sophie her ball back right now!"). You have to be able to put up with this or look for one of the quieter pitches on the edge of the campsite. However, depending on the size of the vehicle, access to these is limited. The campsite scores particularly well with its proximity (400 m hiking trail, 1.3 km road) to the Plage de Rondinara, a truly dreamlike beach with a "Caribbean feeling", turquoise blue water and a beautiful, recommendable beach restaurant. At 27€ (2 pers./van, with electricity, card payment possible) p.n. in the low season a fair price and we found it nice here...the noise of the many kids aside :)

"very nice location - ... but you should try to get a good pitch, they're not all the same. We especially like to stay away from the big playground ;-). Short walk to the bay, which is very beautiful and spectacularly round, but also full of seaweed. Didn't try the restaurant there, the one at the campsite is average, ok for a pizza! People were nice! Road to the campsite full of potholes - watch out!

"Great for young and old - Yes, it's true: in some parts of the square there is the humming sound of the restaurant's cold store. But in the middle and to the right, this can no longer be heard. You can choose where you want to sit. There is shade in many places. No grass pitch. We found the restaurant to be good and not overpriced. The view of the illuminated pool and the sea is also great. The swimming pool is not big, but nice and with a fantastic view. We found the reception very friendly and in the event of an accident they were able to help us straight away. The walk to the beach is 10 minutes in the sun. The beach is great and the water was crystal clear. We really liked it there.

"The beach is mega the campsite is not - Quote from the campsite's website: "Please don't hesitate to speak to us in German" the smart gentleman at the information desk denied this with a shake of his head. So much for that, but no matter, in English it worked to some extent. As others have already written, it is quite loud everywhere from washing machines or filter systems. The restaurant was a real cheek. After paying €52 in the restaurant for 2 entrecôte with chips and 1 drink each, we ordered pizza pollo and pizza tuna to take away on another day and only got 2 pizzas with tomato sauce. From then on only self-catering and 2x in the beach restaurant (unfortunately only open until 4pm) which was worth every cent - fresh fish guarantee. The store is quite good you get what would break without a fridge but for gas station prices. The fact that there is no free wifi is also unfavorable. I found the price reasonable at around €25/day (September) for 2 people, large tent, electricity & car. The bay and the beach made up for any inconvenience, the water was so clear that I could see my wife underwater 20 meters away. The sand on the beach was white and there was an absolute Caribbean feeling. It's also perfect for snorkeling.

"More appearance than reality - The pictures on the internet are great, the view of the bay from the road above is magnificent, but once you're on the beach ---- oh GREAT. I don't really have anything against seaweed, but if you grab your diving goggles it becomes clear why there is so much seaweed on the beach. This dream bay is a favorite anchorage for yachts and they have literally ploughed up the bottom - dead water. What's more, the water was so murky that you could hardly see anything. I think a lot is being discharged here by the ships. Let's move on to the campsite: mega-professionally laid out, yes it is, great pool - my kids thought so, but I thought the pitches were a bit off - not because they were ugly. No, they were great, but there was a constant background noise of pumps and cooling systems everywhere. Only at the outer corners were these not audible or in the middle. But here you were crammed in between the motorhomes and that's not my idea of camping. One night and then departure: €56.50 for a family of 5 with just a tent. The most expensive place we visited in Corsica - never again.

"total relaxation - good morning, I stayed ten days in this camping at the turn of July and August with my husband and my 5 year old daughter emma, it was my first experience in a tent and I must say it was really positive. This camping in true Corso style, is particular for reception and stay: there are no delimitation of pitches and consequently it is not possible to make reservations but the continuous turnover of users even in high season means that you can always find a good accommodation, the bathrooms have just been renovated and although simple are functional and very clean. The lack of night lighting and animation for me have been a wonderful experience, enjoying silence and a truly natural place after a year in the stress of the city is priceless, my daughter without the vehicle of animation had fun rediscovering activities of yesteryear, for example, in the evening, with other children had fun with flashlights looking for pine cones, stones and goblins. It is in addition an ideal vacation for those who want to enjoy the beauty of this bay, a turquoise and transparent sea set in a wilderness, very few buildings in the surroundings, the main services are about ten kilometers away, but the isolation of this enchanted place has by really has its merits. Try it to believe
