"Not recommended for guests with dogs - The pitch is nicely shaded under trees. That is the only positive thing we can report. In our opinion, the site is not suitable for dog owners, as dogs are not allowed anywhere. There are prohibition signs everywhere. There is not a single place on the lake where you are allowed to lie with your dog. So either you leave him on the pitch or you don't have any of the facilities on site. And that is indeed the case, as a lady at reception told us. Furthermore, the store is really bad, the site information even says that if you want fresh fruit or vegetables you should drive to the nearest town. All the kitchens close after 8pm. Even in the restaurant (high season). The sanitary facilities are clean and modern on our part of the site, but unfortunately not enough. CONCLUSION: The site is certainly good for families with children - as long as they don't have a dog with them. The site operators would do better to make the site completely dog-free.

"Family vacation with a tent - We were the 1st time there.nice reception,they also speak German and English.you got a briefing in the most important things concerning the place and various leaflets and a site plan in A3 format.the entire place is located in a Kiferwald,light shade makes it bearable even in midsummer.the car parked almost at the tent.You get a fixed assigned parking space near the pitch The sanitary facilities are clean, are cleaned once a day, and once a week completely closed for 3 hours for the purpose of large Grunfdreinigung with high-pressure equipment, etc. There are no paper towels or soap in the toilets, although unusual, but you adjust to it. showers work with cash card. hot showers cost 0.20 cents / 1 min, cold showers are free. washing machines are industrial machines, fine washing / 40 degrees is done in 25 minutes. The sandy beach is beautiful, but you also have the possibility to secure a lawn above in the light shade of the trees.the aquapark for the children is very nicely laid out and there is something for everyone.to note is that from 20.00 absolute bathing ban prevails! The imbiss has a normal selection, but you should do without the currywurst!!! Since we had taken the apples with us to the beach anyway, we were only there to get ice cream. Also the night's rest is kept here from 22.00. No loud music, no cheering, who wants to party here is out of place, normal or quiet listening to music and talking is ok. If you think you have to party and turn night into day, leave the place a day later. Checks are carried out at night with golf caddies. The supply on the course is sufficient, you get the most necessary, if you have forgotten something when shopping.rolls, bread, etc. you order until 12.00 noon for the following day, worked wonderfully!.you get NO bread or rolls without pre-ordering.So, pack bread for breakfast for the 2nd day, if you arrive after 12.00. The nearest supermarkets (Lidl, Aldi and local) are in Lille and Beerse (5-7 KM). in Lille there is also 1 gas station with a store, otherwise ONLY fuel machines, for the most part refuel only with Visa, Maestrocard! In Belgium there is no deposit system for plastic bottles like in Germany, on the campsite you have to sort: plastic bottles, cans, Tetrapak, glass and residual waste, which you then hand in at the garbage collection point, which is supervised. There is 1 CEE socket per pitch, so no distributor where something is extended with tens of three plugs!!! Power grid is stable. On the whole, a very nice campsite, so we will be back

"Campsite by a great swimming lake - The swimming lake with its huge children's water playground is awesome. This time we came with a camper van and spent a great weekend with our 2-year-old daughter. We weren't really there for long, but everything seemed complete. Only the charges for showering (€0.20/minute at the campsite/€1.00 at the bathing lake area right next door) seemed inconvenient and unnecessary. The system with the rechargeable card is certainly useful for permanent guests, but for a weekend it seems excessive.

"Very beautifully situated campsite in the pine forest - Beautifully situated campsite in the pine forest directly on the lake with a huge adventure playground. Sports. Climbing minigolf minicars skating rink etc. Ideal for families to relax

"The perfect children's playground - A dream for families with children. There's lots on offer here, especially in summer. We only used this campsite as a stopover. Unfortunately there was no proper catering for us. The currywurst did not deserve its name, in the morning only bread rolls on pre-order. Everything was geared towards families -> there was no reasonable food on offer. But the lake is simply wonderful for swimming! You also have to like forest places with lots of cones!

De Lilse Bergen is a 4-star camping site in the Antwerpse Kempen with all assets for an enjoyable holiday! Whether you arrive with a caravan, tent or camper, we will gladly welcome you! You do not have your own camping …gear? Rent a caravan, a tipi, a safari tent, a gipsycar or hiker’s hut! Or what about a watertent or a tree-house? The camping will offer you a holiday with plenty of relaxation for the whole family! If you stay on the camping site, you are also admitted to the swimming pond or the mega playground. The swimming pond is a marked out zone in the pond. Children can play in a shallow pond with a playground in and around. Take a look around in the amusement park! You can jump on trampolines, drive in go-carts or go carting in electric minicars and play the kart champion! You feel more like doing water sports? So, jump in a kayak or pedal boat! It definitely sounds like a holiday!
