However, the campsite itself and the paths around it are very nicely laid out. I like the fact that everything is full of trees and plants. Natural and beautiful privacy screens around the pitches.
The place... is small and cozy, we ordered pastries for breakfast and pizza in the evening, both delicious but quite expensive.
What I miss is a small store with fresh vegetables or fruit on the pitch or at least nearby.
The sanitary facilities are unfortunately very dirty, showers and toilets. Very little water comes out of the shower. But warm at all times of the day.
The playground is small and manageable, just like the pool. However, despite the strong smell of chlorine, it was very cloudy.
Unfortunately, the campsite is right on the train line and the airport is not far away either. It was very noisy at times. It's not the site's fault, but what bothered me were the crows in the trees around it. I was awake from 5.30/6.00 in the morning because of this.
Overall, the place is okay, but I wouldn't spend more than a short vacation there.
We won't be back again either.

- the Indian restaurant in the tenement building in front of the campsite is very good and friendly (don't be put off by the façade)

At reception, those who don't speak French are directed to a friendly lady who speaks German. This lady provided us with everything, pitches (without reservation), information about the site, the town, how and from where you can best reach your... destination. The pitches are generously sized and the sanitary facilities are clean. The supply and disposal area is somewhat inconveniently located in front of the campsite. Bread roll service available, but not tested by us, as the bakery is within walking distance and I would like to see what I eat the next morning in a country that is new to me. Strasbourg is a very beautiful city and a visit to the cathedral is a must. On the second day we wanted to move to a different pitch, which was arranged without any problems at reception. All in all, a very nice, recommendable place. You must be book you night before you arrive. The place is really full, but though the night, it is so quiet. The bathroom is enough for what you need. I have seen worse on other... places or hotels ^^. The place is in a wood and there is a lot of shadow. Everything is signposted. The wifi is everywhere with your own code ;). Extremely friendly welcome, infrastructure OK, a bit noisy at night due to road and air traffic, but no problem with earplugs. The pitches are on the ground/lawn, ours was a bit sloping and soaked, our predecessor had probably already got stuck and... had left deep tracks in the mud due to several attempts to drive out. Good transport links to the city center, we walk with the dogs, of course, in 25 minutes you are already in the city center. All in all, very nice. We will be back againAutomatiskt översatt.

It can also be used as a transit stop, although this does cause a little inconvenience. The pitches are large enough, as long as you don't use large awnings. The tarmac access roads are quite narrow, but even large motorhomes have made it... through. The railroad line can sometimes be heard, especially at night. Ask at reception for tips on sightseeing, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Be sure to use public transport and follow the reception's tips here too. With your own car it is chaotic, we were stuck in one traffic jam after another in the city center for more than 30 minutes in the afternoon. The streetcar is better, the bus also has congestion problems. The new operator Indigo should improve the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities, e.g. the attractively and modernly furnished dishwashing and laundry areas in the outdoor area are completely filthy around the washbasins, both early in the morning and late in the evening. The indoor washing areas are surprisingly cleaner. The same goes for the pitches, grass that has not been mown for weeks and weeds growing freely cannot be justified as being close to nature.Automatiskt översatt.
