- Tim K.June 2019PositivaLake, swimming pool, clean sanitary facilities, nice staffNegativaNone foundHighly recommended! We were on the site for the first time over Corpus Christi. We were warmly welcomed. The pitches are pleasantly large. Swimming pool, lake with slides and an indoor playground + playgrounds spread over the entire site make this great Cp the perfect family site. Always clean sanitary blocks and friendly staff! Will definitely come here again.Automatiskt översatt.
- Alexander G.May 2019PositivaWide range of leisure activities Ideally suited for familiesNegativaIf you are looking for peace and quiet, this is probably not the right place for you in high seasonLarge campsite with many permanent campersWe were at this site at the beginning of May. The weather forecast for the weekend was very changeable, which prompted us to book this pitch because there are opportunities to warm up or shelter from the heavy rain. We chose a pitch at the end, which seemed very quiet to us, but we had to pay for this... with a relatively long walk to the sanitary facilities, for example. But the peace and quiet was worth it. As the campsite has a lot to offer for children, we won't be visiting in high season. However, the site is ideal for families.Automatiskt översatt.
- Hans-Wilhelm v.April 2019PositivaNeat place, very friendly operatorsNegativaAvoid driving over the dyke! It is better to drive inland through the villages.Tourists get the best pitches!Do not drive over the dike!
After registration you have to drive along the whole Olatz. Don't be frightened - permanent campers next to permanent campers. And then THE surprise. Large lawns and a pond, and there are the pitches for the tourists! SUPER!
With all the blessings of a pitch, water, waste water, electricity and TV connection!
We were there over Easter. EASTER HAPPINESS and all-round care for the campers - fabulous!
Highly recommended!Automatiskt översatt. - Udo K.May 2018PositivaClean, nice staff, leisure activitiesWhitsun vacations 2018A beautiful, well-kept and very green campsite with friendly staff. - Heike L.May 2017PositivaBeautiful, sociable, quiet at night, great for children, dogs welcome,Insider tip, unfortunately still too unknownGreat place. Quiet and beautifully situated. Great for children but a mixed crowd overall. Great lake, indoor pool with opening roof, small indoor play area, extensive playground, small petting zoo. Good sanitary facilities, extremely friendly staff and always great entertainment. You have to try it out!Automatiskt översatt.
- Dominik G.April 2017PositivaVery large playground, indoor play hall and our own petting zooNegativaAt the beginning of 2017, the Swiss license plates could not yet be correctly recognized by the camera at the entrance gateGreat campsiteThe site is very nicely laid out. The pitches are very spacious and laid out in smaller groups in a circle. The pitches next to the playground are very suitable for families and you have a good view of the playground from the pitch.Automatiskt översatt.
- Vince O.September 2016PositivaBeautiful, large pitches; super clean sanitary facilities; many leisure activities with beautiful surroundings for tours by bike & on footHuge offer!I should mention in advance that the approach can be a little strenuous for less experienced caravan users with a large caravan (in my case almost 14m long and 2.5m wide). The approach is regularly via the adjacent dyke crest, which is used as a bypass. It is therefore quite possible that a 40t truck... will come towards you. Even caravans with a width of more than 2.2 m cannot access the campsite (CP) from the A12 directly via the dyke, but have to drive through the villages of Huissen, Angeren and Boerenhoek. The CP itself is nicely structured. You can find your pitch right by the lake, by the playground and the roundels behind it, or in a quiet, secluded grassy area. All pitches have electricity (10A), water, drainage and TV. The pitches are nice and large and half of them are laid out on grass / sand. Use according to the layout. There are always small play stations for the little ones in the middle of the six roundels. I think that's really nice because you can always keep an eye on them. There are also chalets to rent and a campsite. There is a lot on offer for children. There are three water slides on the lake, a very large adventure playground, a swimming pool with a flexible roof, a petting zoo and a maze. The entertainment for young and old is extensive. There is also golf and organized exploratory trips around the campsite in a covered wagon. The site and the sanitary facilities are super clean. The staff are always busy maintaining the campsite. WLAN is free of charge and dogs are very welcome! You get a roll of bag dispensers when you register and of course you get a new one immediately on request, as well as bin liners. The whole staff is super nice, friendly and accommodating. The campsite was very busy in September and should be (very) full during the summer vacation. I would therefore also advise booking this campsite in advance of the vacations. There is a bike rental at the reception; to the left is the CP restaurant with a wide selection of dishes. There is also a store where you can get everything (including bread rolls - at weekends from 08:30, chips, ice cream). Overall, the prices at the campsite are very reasonable. The store also has another playground and a beer garden with a stage. The opening hours of the reception are from 09:00 to 17:00; the store is open until 21:00/22:00. There is a pharmacy in Gendt (approx. 4km). Everything else (e.g. for bulk purchases) can of course be found in Arnhem (approx. 14km). You can refuel immediately in Huissen (approx. 6km). There is a lot to explore in the region (including the Doornenburg itself), so if you have the opportunity to take bikes with you, you should pack them, otherwise the bike rental service can also help. The campsite is great and we can highly recommend it. We will definitely be back next year!Automatiskt översatt.
- Carola L.May 2011A lovely small campsite, mainly for permanent campers in mobile homes and seasonal campers. The tourist pitches by the lake are laid out in a circle. This is something different, but the pitches are therefore very deep but relatively narrow. You won't find many German license plates even though you are... only a few km across the border (thanks to a small ferry). The site is very quiet, surrounded by several waterways and dykes. A typical Dutch bicycle paradise, well suited for a "short break" in between. The campsite has a small swimming pool and a swimming lake with a slide, sandy beach for digging and a nice children's playground.Automatiskt översatt.
- Sina B.April 2011The staff are very friendly and speak German. Arnhem and Nijmegen can be reached in 20 minutes. The site is very clean and beautiful. The sanitary facilities are in top condition! Music is played. During the Dutch school vacations there are lots of activities for children. If you don't camp by the lake, you have peace and quiet. There are lots of families with children at the lake. -You are not allowed to drive over the dike with your caravan!!!Automatiskt översatt.
