Holger M.July 2022PositivaGood pitches with shade, close to the beach, close to town, quiet campsite, generally friendly staffNegativaSanitary facilities, high speeds of the employees with their e-mobilesNice CP but with deductionsBeautiful, quiet and green campsite on the outskirts of Quiberon, which has been called Sauvage since this year due to a change of ownership (should perhaps be adapted here!) The pitches are an ideal size, even for larger caravans, and are generally equipped with trees for shade, direct water connection... (drinking water quality) and electricity (6A and 10A).
The walk to the beach (quiet side) takes between 5 - 10 minutes, depending on the pitch on the CC.
A sufficient number of sanitary facilities are available. Showers and sinks are fine. Unfortunately, the toilets were often dirty. This is of course due to the guests, but if cleaning once is not enough, you just have to think about it!!!!!
The staff are generally friendly and helpful. I was even allowed to leave against the direction of travel due to the size of my camper van, so that I could leave more easily and avoid accidents.
The employees usually drive around the site in electric cars. In the evening, however, there was more speeding than driving and even when it was dark, although the vehicles are not illuminated! Very dangerous, as there are lots of children of all ages on the campsite, even in the evening.Automatiskt översatt.- Jörg C.September 2018Beautiful campsite on the peninsula.Beautifully laid out campsite with lots of flowers and various trees. Later we saw that there were much nicer pitches with shade in other areas of the site, why we weren't offered these is beyond me (perhaps only intended... for longer stays :-( ). The layout of the pitches was ok, but almost without shade. The site was very well developed with paved roads, a large modern reception building testifies to a lot of activity in the high season (now there was nothing going on). The sanitary facilities were ok. There is a small supermarket and a restaurant (le Trio) right next to the campsite, which is highly recommended.Automatiskt översatt.

The sea can be reached via a side road with little traffic. Very friendly operators. You can choose your own pitch and the pitches are mostly laid out like niches. Water and waste water available on most pitches directly on the pitch. Spacious park-like... grounds with a large playground and some new sanitary buildings which are preferable to the old facilities. Supermarket around the corner from reception. Ideal starting point for all kinds of activities. In addition to the sea and the town of Quiberon, the medieval town of Vannes and a tour of the numerous megaliths near and around Carnac are highly recommended. Supermarket nearby and all for 15€ per night. Sanitary facilities of varying quality, in section C brand new, very modern and clean. Sea not suitable for bathing at low tide as far too shallow (maximum knee-deep up to 500 m from the beach) and with rocks directly on the already narrow beach.
