Profil

At Étang de Mondon, a lake in the peaceful surroundings of the village of Cromac in the Limousin, lies Camping du Lac de Mondon. Bright terraces offer shady and sunny pitches on well-kept lawns. Travellers stay for one night, while …families with children enjoy the swimming pool, large playgrounds and fun activities. The campsite is slightly elevated from the lake shore, so that several terraces merge into one another. Sixty camper van pitches fill the quiet campsite. Most pitches are in the shade of trees and are surrounded by hedges. Some pitches are sunny. You can choose pitches that are suitable for tents, but also extra-large pitches for larger caravans and camper vans. The grass on all pitches is well maintained. Cosy mini-chalets and classic mobile homes complete the camping facilities. The campsite is also an excellent destination for campers who want to stay longer than one night. In the high season, these are mainly families. There is plenty of room for children to play, in and around the water. There is another playground on the shore, while the sports fields and large open lawns also provide entertainment. In addition, activities are regularly organised for them: for example, a film evening, a treasure hunt or an archery workshop. The campsite swimming pool is a big attraction in itself. The spacious outdoor pool with a view of the lake offers plenty of space for campers. It is only when the swimming pool is open to locals at the weekend that it can get a bit crowded. Next to the rectangular pool is a round paddling pool.
