Wonderful place in an excellent location for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The restaurant is inexpensive and excellent. The infrastructure is good, pitches with direct fresh water connection and gray water drainage. The staff are extremely friendly. We would love to come back!

The pool is too small for sports swimmers.
Excellent campsite with a great restaurant
We are thrilled and would love to come back! The hosts are also happy to provide valuable tips for tour planning and excursions!

nice campsite but expensive and crazy owner
the owner seems to be more interested in money than in the happiness of his guests, we were assaulted for 10 minutes by him because our van was sticking out of his (badly marked) pitch.

Once we understood what this unpleasant character wanted, and our van was moved, he came back to yell at us even more... because of an awning tensioner, which was also sticking out of our pitch.

we were absolutely alone in this campsite the size of a soccer pitch.

The price is already very high, and the showers are not free either.

To be avoided at all costs if you want to have a good vacation.

Good location, great panorama. Good disposal facilities for Womos. Large parking lot in front of the barrier. Site directly on the river with direct connection to the road network.
Negativa
Sanitary facilities quite old, shower costs and meter keeps running even when water is off. In addition, the number of washbasins/showers could be slightly larger. WLAN only available in the area around the main house.
Beautiful place with slight flaws
Beautifully parceled out site, with generous plot sizes. Very easy to reach, friendly staff. Very nice location directly below the Aletsch Glacier. The railroad line runs right next to the campsite (ideal for train spotters).

Well located place for winter sports
We stayed at this quiet and well-kept place for a week in January 2020. Very friendly and committed reception, the restaurant was understandably closed. Sanitary building clean and equipped with everything necessary.
Winter sports possibilities such as cross-country skiing, skiing and great winter hiking. The "Eggishorn" cable car station is just under ten minutes' walk away.
The best WLAN we have ever had on a campsite.

Great location, very clean and good food
Excellent 4 star campsite. Highly recommended. We felt completely at home and made numerous excursions into the Valais Alps. A big thank you. We will definitely be back. Keep it up👍.

This small but excellent campsite deserves a lot of praise. Large pitches, clean toilets, friendly and very helpful staff, ideal as a starting point to Aletsch and also to Zermatt.

Idyllic, quiet campsite
We have been visiting this campsite frequently for 2 years and are extremely satisfied. Hospitable staff, clean sanitary facilities, a pleasant saltwater swimming pool and a nice playground for children with a table tennis table, football pitch and volleyball court. There is also the possibility to play... with the Tschüttelikasten, mill and chess with large game pieces. The campsite restaurant offers an attractive menu at fair prices. Very good starting point for various leisure activities, cable car and public transport in the immediate vicinity.

4 stars place???
Wifi is now included, which made me very surprised that the place is awarded 4 stars. For 4 stars I don't expect to have to insert coins when showering! The sanitary facilities are also very small for the size of the site, so there should always be cleaning staff on hand. Otherwise the location is ideal for hiking in the Aletsch area.

Rip-off !
Coming from the Wadtland, where we were warmly welcomed, we are very disappointed here about : Wlan (Fr. 4.- / hour) showers not even included , garbage bag not used, nevertheless Fr. 3.- paid ! Foreign staff would be friendlier, but can't complain.

Nice, quiet place. Staff and operator very unfriendly. Only 4 showers & toilets and 2 washing-up areas guarantee waiting times. Sanitary facilities dirty at all times of the day. The electricity price (CHF 7) is exorbitant.

Quiet, central but exorbitant prices
Describes itself as a 4* campsite. With just 4 showers for ladies and 4 showers for men for the whole site! And these also cost 1 Fr./€ per 3 min. even though you pay Fr. 45.-/night. Staff unfriendly and the price/performance ratio for the food in the restaurant is not right. First and last time here.

Well located place for leisure activities, playground very nice for children. The only pity is the staff and the prices, 5.- for a baby, and electricity for 7.- according to homepge and flyer only 4.-. When you confronted her she just said it was old, but the flyer is on the counter

almost empty in the high season, should give you food for thought. The price for this infrastructure is absolutely top of the range. Very cool reception. Great starting point for hikes in the Aletsch region. Proximity to the village also ok.
