Depending on the size of the pitch, you have enough space, but it's not really comfortable. Unfortunately, the showers, although nicely designed, are very few, there is only a small... shelf in the showers, no hooks on the doors but a sink. Some of the water was lukewarm. Basically, the available showers and toilets are far too few for the size of the room. The prices in the saloon are rather high, for drinks just short of outrageous. Prices for pizza also very high or pizza too small. Bread rolls very expensive. We found the prices too high for what was on offer, you don't have to take every euro by force, especially since a lot of guests probably go to the park and leave a lot of money there. The design as a campsite definitely has room for improvement, as already mentioned the design of the buildings is very nice, like everything in the park. If the site were a bit more in the direction of a campsite instead of a pitch, as the price has already moved in this direction, it would score more pointsAutomatiskt översatt.

When going to the toilet becomes an adventure and you have to join the long queue at the wash house in the morning.
The food is extremely expensive (a normal baked roll costs 60 cents, a Coke (0.5 l) costs €3.50).... You don't get a barrier chip, the "gatekeeper" opens the barrier for you. So there is no check on how many cars are driving on it. The arrival is super organized and you are welcomed very nicely.
In addition to the entrance ticket the next day, there was also a "last hour ticket" for the day of arrival. What a great idea! On the other hand, campers no longer have half... an hour earlier access as overnight guests. There was also a €1 discount for the park's own movie theater.
Unfortunately, the pitches look like a parking lot. The roads are concreted and the pitches are paved with grass pavers. Makes everything very clean and tidy, but unfortunately also a bit sterile. But you usually only stay here for a short trip. WLAN was very good for a CP and free of charge. Unfortunately, there was no water connection on site.
The resort area with restaurant, sanitary facilities and wash house is designed in Western style - typically Europa-Park with a lot of love!
In addition to a drinks and deposit machine, there is even a pharmacy machine. I've never seen anything like it.
The toilets were very clean and nice. I could imagine that it could be a bit tight during the main holiday season. But if necessary, you can also use the toilet in the adjacent resort.
The village of Rust is directly adjacent to the park and is within walking distance. There you will find everything a vacationer needs. Logical with the neighbors...
Conclusion:
Great for a short vacation with a visit to the park. The caravan pitches are close together and the ground is completely paved with grass pavers - it is therefore quite difficult to secure an awning properly.
What we found very good is that there are lots of benches/tables,... some of which are covered.
The barbecue areas are very nice.
The well-maintained playground is covered.
There is also a natural swimming pond.
The sanitary facilities were very busy in the morning when we were there (early August). There were waiting times (which would have happened even without Corona, as unfortunately some campers did not adhere to the hygiene regulations)
The food in the Silver Lake Saloon was very tasty, but in our opinion the plate could have been more generously stocked for the price.

The cleanliness of the sanitary facilities should be emphasized. They were cleaned regularly and all the facilities were always... in perfect condition.
Even if the campsite is not one of the cheapest, it is definitely worth the offer.

The site was well frequented, or almost full. If you expect small-scale camping here (separate plots with opaque hedges around them), you'd better stay at home in your garden. Parking/camping is wildly mixed up; you park wherever... you can find space. Does that bother you? Not at all. After all, you're not coming here for a camping vacation, but to visit the Europa Park. And you're out and about all day anyway. Despite the constant comings and goings (as most people only stay for 1-3 days), there isn't a great deal of unrest on the site. It's very quiet from 10pm to 11pm and we slept wonderfully. How anyone can complain about the cleanliness is beyond me? Maybe he has made the toilet/shower dirty himself? It is constantly wiped and cleaned and the place itself is also very clean. The price-performance ratio is also good. 35 per day/night with unlimited electricity, free WLAN, warm and clean showers for the 4 of us is a good deal. It could hardly be cheaper. Especially not 5 minutes' walk from the main entrance to the Europapark. And you don't even have to walk because there's always a free shuttle train. It's a mystery to me how people who pay almost €50 a day per person can complain here? My only criticism is that the on-site restaurants and the kiosk are very expensive (Europa Park prices). There is a cheap and good pizzeria by the tennis courts 500 m from the campsite. As we are club card holders with a parking pass (which only costs €25 for the whole year), we will of course be back soon. And with the parking pass, we only pay the €25 nightly fee. One thing we particularly like is the uncomplicated check-in. But then it's time to look for a pitch. The pitches are all equipped with electricity and have no limit, which is ideal for hot or cold days when using the... heating or air conditioning. There are two sanitary facilities in very good condition. Unfortunately, the cleaning staff don't always keep up with the dirty pitches during busy periods. The site is laid out in such a way that park visitors have short distances into the park. Unfortunately, the site is now also used by many other campers, who also cheat on the small fee by parking their caravan and then driving out again and parking it somewhere else. It could also be observed how security personnel with a southern appearance obviously let compatriots drive back in without a ticket. Here, the simple check-in is unfortunately a disadvantage for the park. It would also be an advantage if the pitches could be divided up and registered, as this would ensure that the capacity of the pitch is used effectively. However, the site is still recommendable if you like the hustle and bustle and the flair of the most beautiful park in the world.
