I really liked the campsite. The pitch was sensationally well located (pitch 1 for caravans). The lady at reception was very nice and also helped me a lot with my special requests.

Not a good recommendation from Bodö Tourist Office
We were looking for a quiet campsite near Bodö so that we would have a short journey to the ferry to Lofoten the following day. This campsite is 8 km north of Bodö. The access road is already very dirt road-like. We were greeted at reception by two young "women" (students?) who were overwhelmed. The... allocation of a pitch in an almost empty area was unnecessary. A "very important" camper (supposedly the groundsman) then received us and "dictated" a pitch to us. The sanitary facilities had seen better days and were moderately clean. A large cafe/restaurant on the campsite was closed and didn't look like it was still open. There were a few permanent campers on the campsite. The whole place made a somewhat neglected impression, although the location on the coast was quite appealing. In future we would rather stay at the site at Bodö airfield, because the site couldn't be worse.

With views of the archipelago and Lofoten outposts. A peaceful spot, located on the coast on road 834, about 8 km north of Bodø. We had over 20 degrees Celsius for more than a week and fantastic views over a lively archipelago and towards the distant shores of Lofoten. Of course with midnight sun. We... got a beautiful pitch directly on the shore of the lagoon. The site has a short season and attracts many bathers when the weather is warm, which affects the standard of the service house, which is already of a slightly older date.
