The roads on the site are littered with potholes and there are no plots. Anyone can stand anywhere they want on the overgrown areas. The paths are quite overgrown, so that caravans or mobile homes do... get the odd scratch. There are no distances between the individual users, as is usually the case with the usual 1.50 m. The ground on the meadows was quite peaty, so that vehicles sank in after standing for a while and could only be moved with effort. The shower and toilet facilities were very limited. On the one hand, one shower house was completely closed and no repairs had been carried out. There was only 1 washing machine and dryer per wash house. The usable showers were also limited in use, as the water supply was only 5 seconds.
The costs in the small market on the square were overpriced.
Overall, the impression was disappointing. This meant we had to walk long distances. Playground seemed to be under permanent construction. W-Lan was expensive, but practically didn't work at all. I can't think of any reason to go on vacation there again, unless I was a surfer. The many allotment garden campers probably come from the surrounding area and use the campsite as an allotment garden without the obligation to plant vegetables. If there's no wind, they might go to the beach as an exception. The chips and sandwiches are good. The store has a price level like a highway petrol station. Due to the size of the campsite and the location of the entrance with the main buildings at the beginning of the campsite, you have to walk a long way for all kinds of errands. The entire site is overgrown with stinging nettles and thistles, especially at the electricity boxes and the taps for drinking water, the pitch sign is also overgrown with the above-mentioned... weeds and grass, the grass on the pitch is about 25 cm high. Could have been mowed beforehand. In front of the sanitary house 2 almost all paving slabs broken everywhere puddles and on the house wall also about 1m high thistles. I thought it was a joke when I was told on request from home: Please bring a 40m long power cable with you, that was no joke, even to the water point it was 38m :-(. I don't want to go on about the smell and the mess at the containers for the green dot and residual waste. Whenever I arrive at the site, the stress falls off my shoulders. A peaceful, relaxed atmosphere - not for philistines! The pitches are well cleaned and are in a basic, or so-so, condition. I enjoy the sound of the sea, the waves, the... storm! But even more so the warm, sunny days on the beach for swimming, snorkeling and sailing. The owner is relaxed and accommodating with us residents. When it comes to the rules, he sometimes lets things be straight if there's no other way. The neighbors are easy-going and help each other out. If you're missing something, you're not feeling well or you need help, just ask others on the site! People here help each other and lend each other what they need to live or meet up with neighbors in the evening. That's the way it should be if you don't insist on your rights in stuffy German. The atmosphere is therefore relaxed and laid-back. I love the evening sunsets on the beach with barbecues, wine and campfires - a dream!
There are lots of rabbits here, great for children!
However, there is a warning if you have your caravan / tent on the site in January to April: In some cases, large areas can be up to 20 cm under water when it rains a lot. If you are prepared for this, you will find this natural spectacle more pleasant or adventurous, like me!
Various programs await you during the summer vacations. In addition to the numerous potholes in the paths, the power supply on our pitch could not be used. So although there were three sockets three meters from the caravan, not a single one had electricity.... When asked, the groundsman acted very ignorant and couldn't explain it. However, the fact that the camping neighbor was already using another remote power connection showed me that this problem had obviously been going on for some time. I was then able to draw power from the power distribution box using a 50 m cable. Furthermore, some of the paths are very narrow and it is all the more surprising that they are narrowed by bushes and trees right at the bends. If these were at least cut across the paths, some additional space could be created for maneuvering. There are enough showers in the sanitary area, which also make a reasonably clean impression. However, a closer look reveals a backlog of repairs here too. Locks that are defective are not replaced. Hot showers are included in the price. However, the shower turns off after around 10 seconds and the shower button has to be pressed again. Which is very annoying. Washing up: There were two sinks near our pitch for this purpose. This area was not cleaned once during our entire stay or the garbage disposed of from there. The garbage piling up at a trash can and any kind of garbage lying around everywhere is anything but a reasonable condition for vacationers. Obviously, the numerous permanent campers have no problem with this issue. One permanent camper I spoke to could understand the operator. The waste had been dumped there by campers and should the operator take it away? Here I have to say a resounding YES and advise all tourists to either arrive here with very low expectations or to complain to the operator immediately so that such a beautifully situated site can be brought back up to a reasonable level. All in all, it looked a bit like a military training area in the off-season, which was also due to the numerous permanent campsites that had been cleared away but not really tidied up. Thank goodness without my family. Reception friendly and helpful. Only plus point. Paths on the site are reminiscent of a military training area. Hole after hole. Don't want to know what it's like when it rains. Allocated pitch... directly behind the dune, so a short walk to the sea. Unclean, garbage in the hedges, which could be cut everywhere. On to the next wash house. Has the charm and facilities of a station toilet. Cleanliness was okay, but I don't want to know what it looks like when it's busy. The area around the wash house looks like a scrapyard for caravans. Many of the permanent campers' pitches at the front are also pretty scruffy. I didn't even look any further. Reservations were not necessary as there were plenty of free pitches. The vacation pitches are located directly behind a wall by the water. You can be on the beach in just a few minutes. Unfortunately, the water is very rocky. It is ideal for long, beautiful... beach walks with the dog. You can also get to Kiel or Eckernförde quickly by car. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated and kept simple. Cleanliness was ok. There is a supermarket on the site where you can get almost everything. What we found very positive was that there were plenty of dog waste bag dispensers, which we are unfortunately not used to from other campsites. The staff at reception were also nice and helpful. We come from near Kiel ourselves and have found a place here where we like to come more often with our 3 children and dog at the weekend.Automatiskt översatt.

The first impression was not bad. We were offered several pitches. As there were probably a lot of free tourist pitches, we got two small, adjoining pitches for the price of one. The beach can be reached through various passages and... is only a few steps away from the pitch. The store is very well stocked and also has very good opening hours. We did not try the restaurant. Overall, the site is in a rather poor condition. The condition of the permanent pitches in particular put a damper on the overall picture. The paths are also not in particularly good condition and quickly become waterlogged when it rains. The sanitary buildings are large and in good condition overall. However, the cleanliness here also leaves a lot to be desired. With 2 showers I also had the problem that when you pressed to switch on the shower, the water went out again after 2-3 seconds. This is very annoying in the long run. But the worst thing was a wedding party in the restaurant of the CP from Saturday to Sunday. We were a good 300 meters away from the building, but it was practically impossible to sleep until 3 am. We were glad that we didn't take the pitch right next to the building. Because we weren't told about the party. I also brought this up when we left, but was only laughed at. In principle, I don't have a problem with this if you are informed in advance. In the low season, when the surf school was not yet open. However, we wouldn't have minded the noise during the day. With children "in tow", it would have been absurd for... noise to disturb us. The site was clean, the sanitary facilities were not the newest, but they were clean. The highlight was the ease of registration (we were much too late), the food in the restaurant and the friendliness of everyone. You could tell that the mostly "nature-oriented" campers felt at home and that rubbed off.
