Just a stone's throw from the sweet Zoutelande. Simply wonderful. Large supermarket within walking distance. As always in the Netherlands, the bicycle is the main means of transportation. We were there with a caravan and now with a motorhome. I can only say... - always happy to return. I can only say that everyone who has come here on our recommendation is enthusiastic and, like us, repeat offenders. Children are welcome, as are dogs. Our herding dog mix already knows his way around. Anneke and Abco are always ready with a friendly word. They also organize a joint activity once a week. A very friendly welcome at the campsite. The site is only called a mini campsite because of the small number of pitches, the individual pitches are huge. Lots of play equipment for children, quiet corners for adults, quick bike ride... into town. A good 1.5 km to the shops, the bakery comes to the site every day except Sundays. Connection to many cycle routes. Perfect location. You don't stand close together.NegativaThere are none!Great vacationWe stayed at the campsite for two weeks in mid-September 2017. It was the first time we had opted for a mini campsite. Everything was perfect. Very friendly and helpful owner family. The sanitary facilities were always clean. I think the fact that there were even two family showers with WC and washbasin... on a mini campsite was unusual. A baker came by around 9am with fresh bread rolls. There are good shopping facilities on the outskirts of Zoutelande. Easy to reach by bike or on foot in a few minutes. The beach can also be reached on foot in a few minutes. Walking the dog from the campsite is just as great as playing on the beach at low tide. But please remove the legacies of our pets! We will be back again. Great, friendly and helpful hosts who always have time and an open ear. The site is clean, quiet and ideal for young families with small children. The first time we were in zoutelande, with anneke and her family, was in 2015... by then it was already clear that we could go again, and regularly! We have a toddler under 2 years old and she can run, romp and play there! She has... plenty of space!!! The friendly family regularly checks on her and takes care of everything. Early in the morning they lather and clean the sanitary facilities from top to bottom. The family bathrooms are ideal with a child! When our daughter wasn't yet able to walk, we went into the bathroom with the baby carriage and were able to get her ready in peace. I've never seen a pitch that offers so much space before. Where others accommodate 5 caravans to make as much profit as possible, there is just 1 caravan in Houtenburg. You pitch your awning on a paved terrace, and there are plenty of poles and large pegs so that everyone can pitch their tent safely. The sea and the beautiful pedestrian zone are just a few minutes' walk away. There you can walk along the beach, go shopping or enjoy a delicious meal. There is also plenty to see in the surrounding area and plenty of places to visit. I think it's an ideal place with small children! - Jörg R.October 2012Really nice place. Very friendly and helpful people. The pitches are great and very open, so you don't feel cramped. Due to the concrete slabs in front of the caravan, you hardly have a chance to get the pegs into the ground. But the site operators have provided a remedy in the form of poles. Although... the sanitary facilities are small, they are kept very clean. It is an estimated 8-900 meters to the beach, but this is not a problem. Shopping facilities in the village (approx. 1 km). Restaurants near the beach, so also about 8-900 meters away from the place. The bottom line is that it is highly recommended.Automatiskt översatt.
