Very nice campsite
I was at the campsite in July 2023. I received a friendly welcome and was personally shown the pitch and the facilities.
The sanitary facilities were excellently maintained and a groundsman was available day and night. There was the threat of a storm during my stay. The groundsman opened the clubhouse,... which consisted of a permanent building, for the duration of the storm. I felt well looked after at the campsite.
I got to know nice people at the campsite with whom I laughed a lot.

Quiet, good value for money, and nice location
Quiet and friendly small campground
Had a very nice and pleasant stay at this campground. Friendly owners, clean facilities, and located in a quiet area. Recommended as base for climbing in Sauerland/Warstein.

Well signposted hiking routes from the campsite. Good starting point for exploring the Rothaargebirge.
Negativa
No shopping facilities on the site. However, there are several discount stores in the nearby town of Rüthen.
Campsite located directly by the forest
Two shared club campsites. The welcome here is very friendly. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. Separate campsite for groups. Motorcyclists welcome.

We have been guests with our camping club for years. Impeccably run for years. We have always felt at home here. If you are traveling as a single couple, you should appreciate the quietness of the site. Noise-sensitive guests may find the nearby road annoying. Because the campsite has a club room, it is ideal for camping clubs.

Warm welcome even with tents. Camping close to nature with clean sanitary facilities and great value for money.

Recommended for a short vacation
Spent a lovely long weekend with two fathers and four children. Friendly, uncomplicated welcome, the children felt at home straight away.

I always enjoy going there! Nice people, lots of nature and great little towns to stroll around in the area. And you had super nice themed parties and events like Easter, Christmas market and summer festivals!

The site is very quiet. Ideal for hiking. A car is required for shopping. The nearest shop is in the town of Rühten and is 3 km away. The site has mainly permanent campers who are all very helpful.
