"Super place, much has been renovated, great with dogs and also children - We stayed here for a few days and were very pleasantly surprised. The new sanitary facilities are great. All information about the site and e.g. an online bread roll ordering service is available in the app. Very friendly staff. The dogs were welcome and could swim in the river and there are lots of great hiking trails from the campsite. There are no big cities nearby. But if you're looking for nature, you can let off steam in Luxembourg and the Eifel. We'll be back again very often.

"Start-up difficulties and expensive additional services - The Paltz is in a very nice location and is quiet. Unfortunately, there is only one disposal, which gets very tight when there is a lot of traffic. Apparently the operators have changed and the power supply and wifi were more gone than there. We find it borderline to charge €9.00 for a day of fast wifi that doesn't work. Charging extra for 16 A is normal, but then it has to work. With a free place at the river you had to make the reservation (25,00€) anyway. Unfortunately, you get the feeling that a lot of money is to be generated quickly with minimal effort. Even when asked, they didn't want to be persuaded to refund anything, as the booked service was not provided in full, which we found very unfortunate. We and the children felt very comfortable on the campsite. There are lots of activities for children. You can go for long walks with your dog.

"Beautiful campsite on the Our - We were here in September in very nice weather. We received a very friendly welcome and everything important was explained in detail. The new sanitary building in the middle of the campsite is very well equipped. The campsite makes a very well-kept impression. There are hedges planted between the individual pitches so that a site boundary can be recognized. The restaurant was very good, but quite expensive. What the heck, you're on vacation. The country road behind the campsite didn't bother us too much as we were out and about a lot during the day.

"Pitches directly on the water - Many pitches directly on the Our, some hiking opportunities from the site. Ideal with a dog. No fences and barrier closes at midday. Delicious lunchtime snacks in the restaurant. Beautiful terrace/beer garden next to the restaurant.

" - Beautifully situated on the border river. 99% Dutch and Belgian guests. Children's entertainment and restaurant are said to be good, but we didn't use them. We did use the river, where you can float on an air mattress. 50% of all pitches are by the river. The sanitary facilities were unfortunately not clean, even after daily cleaning! The disinfectant dispensers in the toilets were not refilled for days. Otherwise pure relaxation!

" - The campsite with its gourmet restaurant is located directly on the border river with Germany. Recommended in summer. Conclusion: Luxembourg C-pitches are clean and well equipped.

EuroParcs Kohnenhof is a cosy campsite on the Luxembourg bank of the Our. Here you can camp in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings. The river is an ideal place for playing, boating and fishing. The pitches …are located directly on the river. The campsite also has several rental accommodations. The pitches are right on the river and can get a bit boggy in wet weather. All pitches are large, some are paved. Many pitches are demarcated from each other. In addition to the pitches, you can also rent various bungalows. At the campsite, you can experience lots of water fun in the Our. Just wade along the shore! There is also a bridge that takes you to Germany without getting your feet wet. During the summer holidays, our park offers great entertainment for different age groups. The teams organise sports activities, but also creative handicrafts. The shop only offers a limited range. Besides the basic food items, you can order fresh bread here every day. You can do all your shopping in ten minutes by car. The holiday park's stylish restaurant serves delicious drinks, lunches and dinners. On nice days, the restaurant terrace is the perfect place to linger. The bistro ‘The Box’ serves hearty breakfasts, cups of coffee, ice creams and much more. It also offers crisps and snacks that you can take with you to your holiday home. The beautiful surroundings of EuroParcs Kohnenhof are perfect for exploring by bike. You can rent bikes at the park's reception or reserve them a day in advance. EuroParcs Kohnenhof has a small fitness room that all guests can use for free. You can also play football, basketball, volleyball and much more here!

HOW TO GET THERE If using a GPS navigation system please note that in many systems the village Obereisenbach is spelled wrong, namely as Oberejsenbach. Also our address is not listed. Please enter first Rodershausen (Luxembourg). Or enter our coordinates: …Longitude 6,1373 Latitude 50,0163. The camping is located between (Ober) Eisenbach and Rodershausen. You can also use the route planner: http://route.anwb.nl/routeplanner or www.viamichelin.com Coming from the North via Antwerp/Brussels From Brussels take the E 40 direction Namen (Namur). After Namen exit direction Marche, continue and take the exit to Bastogne. In Bastogne take direction Clervaux, after Clervaux direction Marnach/Dasburg (D), after Marnach direction Dasburg (D) do not cross the border but continue on the road to Vianden. Kohnenhof is located approximately 3 miles from this point. Coming from the North via Maastricht/ Germany. Take the freeway to Luik-Aken exit direction Verviers. Continue on the freeway and take exit 15-Clervaux/Luxembourg. Shortly after you cross the border into Luxembourg take the round-about direction Luxembourg in the village of Hosingen take the direction Rodershausen or Eisenbach. When you reach the valley you will see signs directing you to the “Camping Kohnenhof”. Coming from the South via Metz Follow direction Luxembourg City, then direction Arlon/Brussels, exit 3 Bridel/Kopstal, follow direction Mersch – Ettelbrück E421 Clervaux/Hosingen. In Hosingen direction Rodershausen or Eisenbach. In the valley you will encounter the signs for Camping Kohnenhof. From the South via Trier B 51 direction Bitburg, via Olk to Echternach-Diekirch E421 direction Clervaux-Hosingen. In Hosingen etc. Public Transportation Take the train to Clervaux in Luxembourg and take the bus (direction Vianden) to the camping where the bus stops in front.
