Vägbeskrivning

Road If touring through Europe then the new access to Malaga from either Granada, Cordoba or Almeria will bring you past the capital of the province without having to negotiate city traffic. Stay on the A7 Mediterranean Motorway which bypasses …most of the town centres along the coast. The first stage takes you past Torremolinos, over the side of the mountain and down towards Fuengirola. It is here that the Motorway separates into two individual sections, one is the A7 which is the most transited but slower, and the other is the AP7 which is the Toll Road which takes you more directly down the coast but with three paying sections to go through – the prices vary from season to season but the most expensive charge for the trip would be in the region of €12. If you follow the A7 Motorway you will coincide at various points with the AP7 so it is important to follow the signs so as not to end up on the Toll Road without wishing to. On the A7 whilst there are no traffic lights to contend with there are quite a number of traffic roundabouts but these are very well sign posted. When you get to Sabinillas, having bypassed Marbella, San Pedro, Estepona and Casares, you will have to pass the Campsite on your left and continue to the next roundabout at which you should double back and so come to La Bella Vista from the direction of Gibraltar. Air Malaga International Airport has recently undergone a massive plan of improvements destined to provide the capital of the province with an airport worthy of its standing and visitors will discover that with its modern installations the airport has reason to boast that it is the third most transited airport in Spain. Arriving in Malaga by air there are a large number of rent-a-car companies offering their services. It is approximately 100kms by car from the Airport to Camping La Bella Vista. You will need to follow the signs for ‘Algeciras’ or ‘Cadiz’ when coming out of the Airport. This will direct you to the A7 Mediterranean Motorway which bypasses most of the town centres along the coast. The first stage takes you past Torremolinos, over the side of the mountain and down towards Fuengirola. Sea If you are cruising the Mediterranean coast in your own boat then the nearest port for mooring would be Puerto de La Duquesa, which is only a short walk away from Camping La Bella Vista. However there are numerous ports up and down the coast. To the east of Camping La Bella Vista there are ports at Estepona, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Cabopino, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and of course Malaga. To the west of the campsite Sotogrande and Gibraltar are the two ports within the Straits of Gibraltar which are available for sailors.
