"Small but nice - Small but very nice campsite. Access from the south directly in front of the tunnel portal, coming from the north very sharp turn on the opposite lane. There is also a sharp bend at the site itself, but it is also drivable with a large motorhome. Sanitary facilities very clean, although a bit outdated. Mini-market in the restaurant. Bread, milk, eggs, water and beer available. The restaurant itself has very good Spanish cuisine. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. Dog-friendly site, but few opportunities to run around.

"Great, rustic campsite with narrow pitches - A really rustic campsite in a small, rather narrow bay 5 km west of Almeria. The valley is crossed by several bridges, but you can't hear the traffic at all on the front pitches "before the first bridge", just the sound of the sea. You have the bay with its pebble beach to yourself. The sanitary facilities are older, but nicely done, toilets with glasses and everything is always clean. The small restaurant is really great and you can eat delicious food for a small euro. The landlord and his little parrot are really nice. The pitches on the site are very narrow, however, and parking is really tricky for womos/campervans over 6.40m. But the atmosphere makes up for the effort...

"Preference is given to boozing English long-term campers - English long-term campers who drink are preferred. After 4 days we left the campsite exasperated, the shower was out of order the whole time

"Excellent site - Ideally situated a few minutes drive from the city of Almeria and the town of Aguadulce. Several winters spent there in lovely sunshine. Probably the best climate in Europe. Friendly staff, family atmosphere, good bar with food. In a quiet cove with the sea literally only a few metres from the pitches. I wholeheartedly recommend the site.

"Right by the sea - The pitch is outdated and offers hardly any shade. Sanitary facilities at the end. Too bad - could actually be a great place in a beautiful bay. You would have to invest something. Ok for one night.

Profil

Our campsite is located on a sheltered quiet place by the sea, on the beach itself. It is one of the nicest beaches by the Mediteranean sea: a cove named “La Garrofa”, just 4 Km far from Almería city. Its …location makes the campsite a perfect place to enjoy the natural areas of Almería province: Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park , Tabernas Desert, Sierra Nevada. Also the charming white villages are just a few miles away. Moreover indeed the city of Almería, just a 5 minutes drive, will welcome you with its magnificent andalusi heritage: Alcazaba and the Arab cisterns. The campsite, shaded by a centenarian eucalyptus grove, is divided into plots. All of them are connected to electricity supply (6 amp-10amp). We offer three blocks of modern and restructured sanitary facilities ( washbasin, toilets, sinks and showers) with permanent cleaning and free hot water.

The Campsite is located at the Sea shore, in the cove bearing the same name at the feet of Gádor's Sierra, in a privileged environment wrapped in a grove of eucalyptuses and diverse autochthonous vegetation. We are only 4km. away …of the city of Almeria, in the Southeast of the Iberian Peninsula. Almeria boasts the title of Sunniest Spanish city, with a whole of 3.000 hours of sun a year. The temperature ranges in winter from 15 to 25 C, in summer from 25 to 35 C, and the temperature of its waters in winter is warmer than that of the air, which invites you to the bath in any time of year.One of Almería's most notable characteristic is its clear and luminous sky. How to come? We are on foot of beach, in the cove of The Garrofa only 4 km away from the capital of Almeria, in the km 435 of the National 340th that passes by the coast between Almeria and Aguadulce. If you have not your own vehicle, a bus stop exists at the entry of the camping with buses every 30 min. aprox. We are 6 km from the train station and (Intermodal) Bus and 13 km from the Airport.
