"Rip-off?! Never again!!! - Due to the current quarantine regulations (our federal state is still classified as a risk area by Switzerland and entails a mandatory 10-day quarantine in Switzerland ... a no go for 1 planned vacation week in Switzerland) we had to cancel the pitch. We canceled the pitch with arrival day 23.05.21 in writing on 20.04.21 (i.e. in due time before the end of the 31st day before arrival) and asked for a refund of the deposit of CHF 300 (CHF 320 - CHF 20 cancellation fee) to which we were entitled according to the general terms and conditions. We did not receive either the requested confirmation of cancellation or the refund. The operator also did not respond to our emails and contact forms (on the CP homepage) from 26, 29.04., 04, 11.05. and 24.05.2021 (recently the answer at info@clm.ch comes that pitch reservations are currently not accepted). The operator cannot be reached by phone (after an automatic tape announcement and forwarding, all employees are supposedly constantly on the phone =》request to call at a later time or write an e-mail to info@clm.ch), there are no other communication channels. Something seems to be going very wrong here!!!

"very nice, clean campsite, check-in and check-out leaves a lot to be desired - The campsite impresses with its great location on the lake and the beautiful pitches. It is to be hoped that the registration and deregistration will be better organized and run more quickly.

"Super - We were able to spend a week on Lake Maggiore in October. The decision to go to Ticino was made at short notice and we didn't regret it for a second. The whole week was accompanied by beautiful weather, which of course also helped to make a very good impression. Our children (3 and 5 years old) felt at home very quickly! The parents too. Everything available, very friendly, clearly laid out!

Profil

The Lago Maggiore campsite, a flat campsite with trees, is located directly on the shores of Lake Maggiore and is the ideal place for a peaceful stay. The gently sloping sandy beach is well cared for and supervised by life …guards during the peak season. The Lake Maggiore campsite has its very own raft complete with a slide into the lake; all kinds of sports and entertaining activities are available here. The campsite also offers several playgrounds for our smaller guests, a selfservice shop, restaurant with pizzeria, a large charcoal grill area, a gamingroom, an internet-corner and Hydro-Bikes. Our campsite is the ideal departure point for your excursions, along our Lake or in the wonderful valleys near Locarno: Valle Verzasca, Vallemaggia, Centovalli. A day-trip on a boat and lively village markets are waiting to be discovered.
