A Nice Eanglish speaking at reception. Very good acces to Toulouse. A quite relaxing place. Good sanitary.

Access with larger Womo somewhat difficult, as you have to report via intercom. Womos over 5 m block the road

Place is close to the highway, access not difficult. Entrance to the campsite narrow for larger Womos as gate closed. Registration via intercom.

Closer surroundings are not very attractive. Dilapidated buildings. Empty houses.
Short stay
Cozy campsite close to the city. Good starting point for sightseeing. Fenced and supervised. Bicycle path nearby. Sanitary facilities ok. Friendly staff. Well suited for a short stay.

The area around the campsite is not very inviting or safe.
City camping in a central location
Very centrally located. The site is fenced in and under video surveillance. This is also necessary as there is a large camp of wild campers (migrant workers, Roma or similar) in the immediate vicinity (opposite). There were also heavily armed mounted police patrolling the area. That was quite disconcerting.... The city center of Toulouse is easy to reach by public transport. There is also a shuttle bus from the campsite. Checking in was quite complicated. The pitches are large and sunny - no shade. Sanitary in order. Sufficiently clean. For city camping sightseeing and short stays the place is well suited. You should bear in mind that there are virtually no parking spaces in Toulouse, only parking garages with a maximum entry height of 1.90 meters. So it's better to use the public ones ;)

Good place to visit Toulouse
Approx. 8km to the center of Toulouse. Cycle paths along 2 canals. Sanitary facilities acceptable (no toilet paper, no soap!?). Close to highway.

Ideal for visiting Toulouse and the Airbus factory

City camping
Campsite on the outskirts of Toulouse, close to the Canal du Midi for water sports. Friendly reception, friendly operators, admission despite lunch break, uncomplicated check-in. The entrance is equipped with an iron gate and barrier and can only be opened with a personal code, as is the entrance for... pedestrians. This is probably because some people live "somewhat wildly" on the access road to the campsite.pitches large, partly gravel, numbered and delimited by stones. Sanit. Sanitary building nice, spacious and clean. No problems with noise or music. Restaurant with pizzas etc., bread service in the office. Shopping: "Maison du Pain" within walking distance, approx. 5 min., various supermarkets, petrol stations, restaurants etc. 2-3 km. Bus connection to the city, but better to go there by car, parking facilities available. Also ideal for visiting the Airbus factory in Toulouse-Blagnac, as parking available. Reservation and payment via internet recommended, especially in HS.

Good for city tours
We were there in September 2014 as we wanted to explore Toulouse. The site was very conveniently located for this, but only if you drive into the city by car. The public transport is a bit far away, even though a shuttle service is offered by the operators. The operators are committed and friendly and... try to create a good atmosphere. However, the clientele is very heterogeneous, ranging from city tourists (us) to fitters. The sanitary building is relatively new and is cleaned twice. Nothing else exciting.

Easy to reach from the highway.
Stage location, not far from the highway
We had missed the direct exit and had to drive along the city highways until we were back at the right exit. The camp was well secured, but we found a place for the night without any problems. We really liked the wash house, accessible from all sides and very clean and luxurious.

The only place that is close to Toulouse
The proximity to Toulouse is the campsite's greatest strength. The sanitary facilities are ok, but nothing more. The pitches (gravel etc) are only suitable for people passing through. The surrounding area is noisy, shopping facilities are 2-3km away. For sightseeing it is also better to drive a few km by car to the metro station, as the buses run sparsely in the evening and not for long. WiFi unreasonably expensive

Far away from the city (the bus only runs until 8:30pm) The tent pitches are just dirt with no trees for shade. There were ALOT of gypies hanging around. Never felt very secure. Wifi is 3 euros for 1 hour.
