CLEAN, BEAUTIFUL sanitary facilitiesNegativaWifi only 5 minutes free of charge, then quite expensiveVery nice placeWe were here at the end of October. Very nice quiet place with nice sanitary facilities. Friendly staff. The restaurant was open and seemed to be well frequented. Hardly any permanent campers.Automatiskt översatt.
- R. K.May 2016PositivaReasonably priced pitch close to the highway.NegativaSimple sanitarySimple overnight accommodationAdmittedly, I can't really rate the site as we arrived in the evening and continued south again the next morning. I found the sanitary facilities very basic and not really appealing. For me it was ok as a place to spend the night. I can't rate the rest of the campsite. In Loriol you can fill up at a... supermarket gas station at a very reasonable price and you can even drive to it with the largest caravans without the hassle of unhitching the camper van.Automatiskt översatt.
- Philipp P.July 2014PositivaBeautiful pitches with attractive vegetation, quiet location, friendly staff, small swimming poolNegativaRather upper middle class in terms of priceAway from popular camper strongholdsGrane is located to the east of the N7 (and therefore the A7, the Autoroute du Soleil) a little north of Montélimar - not many sun-seeking tourists from more northerly parts of Europe branch off the routes to the east here to go on vacation. That's why there were still plenty of free pitches at "Les... 4 Saisons", which is part of the steadily expanding French "Flower Campings" chain, even in the 2014 high season. The reception by the young staff is open and friendly, you can choose a pitch and occupy it after announcing it at reception. The pitches are mostly shaded by low trees, shrubs etc., which can be useful or even essential in summer - we are in the Vercors valley, which is already quite far south in the Drôme department. The pitches also vary in size, you can find something cozy and small as well as enough space for awnings etc. In the center of the site is the reception building, to which the bar is also connected and in which the sanitary facilities are located below. The descent is via a wide staircase right next to the reception. Once at the bottom, there is a traffic circle in the shape of a forum where people wash up (and chat) and from there the various sanitary facilities branch off. There is also a washing machine and dryer. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for hot water when washing up, apparently the pipes are quite long. In this case, it helps to use the washing-up bowl to draw hot water from the dryer room, where it is much quicker. The facilities are meticulously cleaned and are clean and hygienic, and showers are of course included in the price. Bread can be pre-ordered at reception and there is plenty of information about excursions in the region, although it's not that exciting. Like everywhere else, you can buy fresh garlic here, which is grown in abundance in the area. And on vacation, when you don't have to go to the office, it tastes even better. You can cool off in the small, well-maintained swimming pool, which is of course very popular with the campers' children. In the area, you should visit the Tour de Crest, the old tower of Crest Castle. You will also receive a very friendly welcome there and can visit all floors of the tower (see photos). The exhibition is multilingual. There are no shopping facilities in Grane - there are a few shops selling wines and oils from the region. In Crest there is a large Intermarché with a petrol station, which is also open on Sunday mornings. This means that the most important infrastructural requirements for campers are absolutely covered. As it's not too hilly here, it's easy to cycle, not only to Crest, but also to Loriol-sur-Drôme, where there is also an Intermarché. But don't forget sun protection in summer, as you'll be riding on the country roads in the baking sun. The price of "Les 4 Saisons" was not really cheap, although I had even done without the electricity connection. It's a nice place to stay for two or three days and when you're just passing through, and I would visit the site again at any time. It has a pleasant flair, is well run and is so far south that you don't have to expect too much rain.Automatiskt översatt.
- Gregor B.April 2013Everything was very good. Shopping facilities in the nearby village (1.5 km), there is also a good pizzeria on the village square. Lots of nature; worthwhile excursion: Crest. Fair prices (EUR 10.90 per night for one person with tent and bicycle).Automatiskt översatt.
- Sebastian J.September 2011Idyllic site in the middle of a fantastic landscape! The pitches are terraced and not particularly flat. Everything you need is housed in a central building. Probably just the right place to relax, unfortunately we were only there to pass through - next time longer ;)Automatiskt översatt.
