- Burkhard M.June 2024PositivaClean place with a pleasant atmosphereNegativaHeight difference to the old town, but no alternative available.Pleasant place in the upper town of CassisThe square is located in the upper town of Cassis and is therefore considerably higher than the old town, from where the boats to the Calanques depart. This makes the way back difficult if you don't take the bus that stops right in front of the campsite.
Some of the pitches are a bit cramped, but we had enough space. The sanitary facilities are old but clean. There is a small store on the site.Automatiskt översatt. - Michael B.August 2019PositivaClose to the city, bus stop directly at the entranceNegativaNoisy street right next to the square.Ideally located for exploring Cassis and the surrounding areaThe site is located above the town of Cassis. The pitches are stony and partly uneven, parceled out by small hedges, which look nice but are a hindrance when maneuvering with larger vehicles. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. The small restaurant offers simple meals. You should have enough... power cables with you, as well as steel nails for the tent. English is spoken very well at reception and information is provided in a very friendly manner. There is a bus stop right at the entrance. The only disadvantage is the occasionally busy and therefore noisy road that runs right past the site.Automatiskt översatt.
- Karl-Heinz T.June 2018Positiva- good location to Cassis and the Calanques - small store on the CPNegativa- outdated sanitary facilities - partly small pitches - you don't get any informationCampsite close to the city with only the bare essentialsThe campsite was about half full in mid-June. The campsite is well located for the town of Cassis. The pitches vary in size and are separated by hedges. The sanitary facilities are outdated, the toilets are only equipped with a toilet bowl (no toilet seat, no paper, no hooks for a jacket, not even a... toilet brush). In the evening, the water for washing up was only lukewarm. The information at reception is also more than poor. Theoretically there is free WiFi, but it didn't work for me.Automatiskt översatt.
- Silvia H.June 2017PositivaCity campingNegativaoutdated sanitary, many ants on the siteConvenient camp on the outskirts of the cityStayed here for three nights, friendly welcome, dated sanitary facilities, but was reasonably clean and functional. Only half full at the end of June. Pitches ranged from very sunny to shady. The town is within walking distance. It's a steep uphill walk back to the camp, at least half an hour. The train station can also be reached on foot in half an hour (ideal for Marseille).Automatiskt översatt.
- Thomas E.September 2016PositivaLocation, friendly staffNegativaOld sanitary facilitiesNothing special...If you want to visit the Calanques, you can't miss this place. Because it is the only one here. The site is on the edge of the village, close to the main road, but it is still very quiet at night. The pitches are allocated. Sufficiently large. Electricity and water nearby. The sanitary facilities are reasonably clean - but quite old and dark.Automatiskt översatt.
- Roman F.April 2015PositivaClean Quiet (Easter) Cozy very friendlyNegativaThe campsite itself does not offer much Old sanitary facilities Poor distribution of electricity connectionsEaster tripThe campsite was okay. The sanitary facilities were old, but it worked. The connections for the electricity are a bit poorly distributed. Staff were friendly. Price was a bit expensive for what was on offer. There was also a small store with the most necessary things. All in all, I can recommend the... campsite. The staff were very friendly and the campsite simply made a "cozy" impression. I would recommend this campsite especially to people who only want to spend a few nights there. A highly recommended option for a stopover.Automatiskt översatt.
- Kaj B.March 2015Centrally located near Cassis. Cassis.OK place to discover Cassis. A cozy little port town. The site itself seems a bit old and dilapidated, at least in late March, but is otherwise OK. The sanitary facilities are not quite up to date and seem undersized if all plots are in use. The site is located high above the town, but with no view of... either it or the sea. The roads to the town of Cassis descend quite steeply, so if you don't have "good legs", forget the bike. On foot you can reach the town in 15 minutes and back again in 1/2 hour. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a bar/restaurant on site, but I think it was closed. A small shop has fresh bread and other necessities.Automatiskt översatt.
- Michael M.August 2014PositivaGreat for hikingNegativaLimited leisure opportunitiesVisit in mid-August 2014We were happy to have found a parking space with our camper van. You have to be at the reception early. Long, steep path from the beach to the pitch. Small town beach. Expensive town!Automatiskt översatt.
- Alfred B.August 2013normal campsite for a reasonable price 25 euro a night for a car 2 persons + tent. casis is a nice town but it is expensive and more of a tourist trap which i think is a pity. actually the whole of france is a tourist trap. greetings alfred bachAutomatiskt översatt.
- Pekárek O.June 2013PositivaClean, cheap place in the beautiful town.NegativaNonePerfect place for holidayI have been here many times - with friends, on honeymoon and then with two children (2 and 3). Everytime it was a perfect.
- Mobie L.May 2013Positivarustic, sanitair OKZeer tevreden : )De camping was rustig, sanitair OK. Mooi beschut met hagen en bomen. With an electronic badge you can still get in with the car after 22 uur after 23 uur moet het stil zijn.... Ongeveer een 25 minuten wandelen ben je in Cassis centrum. Een leuk havenstadje met winkeltjes, marktjes en restaurantjes en... de Calanques liggen op een klein uurtje wandelafstand van Cassis centrum. La Ciotat, a cozy old town on the lake is a 20 minute walk to the right or if you walk over the spectacular, beautiful Route des Crètes it may take longer. Marseille is goed bereikbaar op 45 minuten met een bus, vlak bij de camping, die elk uur rijdt. de prijs is OK. Algemeen, best tevreden. : )Automatiskt översatt.
- E. I.June 2012Suitable as an overnight stop to visit the interesting town of Cassis. Cramped pitches, dusty and noisy. Lots of young people with tents.Automatiskt översatt.
- Zábrodský J.September 2011
- Zbigniew D.July 2011Camping definitely for young people - very many young people. In the evenings at the weekend quite noisy - Concerts, Karaoke. Quite far to the sea - about 30 minutes walk Separate sites, clean sanitary facilities, store, access to water also directly at the camping sites.Automatiskt översatt.
- Martin H.August 2010Unfriendly service. Very poor standard of hygiene. Very small pitches. Noisy youths in front of your nose and noisy main road behind you. Mountain pegs are needed for tent friends, otherwise you can't get them into the hard ground. The location, slightly on the edge of the charming town of Cassis, is... great. It's a 20-minute walk down the slope to the beach, but it's worth it! It may only have a pebble beach, but the panorama is breathtaking. This is the perfect starting point for visiting the Calanques (bays). The Calanques can be visited by kayak or on foot. Not to be missed! Otherwise, excursions to Marseille, Aix-en-Provence and Toulon are also worthwhile. All in all, however, this campsite is of a lower standard and yet suitable for undemanding youth groups and party lovers.Automatiskt översatt.
