We stayed at the campsite for three nights this year to visit Orleans.
We received a friendly welcome. Very informal, as there are only about 35 pitches. Access road not very spacious, but we still got in easily. Electricity and water on site. Lots of trees. Pitches parceled out. We couldn't have set... up a sun canopy on our pitch, but that wasn't a problem for us now, there are larger pitches, but they were all occupied.
Sanitary facilities were renovated not too long ago. No removable shower heads. Water always hot enough though. Were cleaned thoroughly every day. Toilets open at the top and bottom. No privacy.
WLAN is free and worked well for us on the pitch.
Baker comes in the morning between 8.30 and 09.00.
The village is within walking distance.
The cycle path starts directly at the campsite.
No view of the Loire from the pitch.

Very nice place on the banks of the Loire. Starting point for cycling tours along the Loire and canals. Wonderful bakery service in the morning by mobile baker!
Indoor swimming pool next door can be used free of charge.

Beautiful small campsite directly on the Loire
Away from any road noise between the Loire and the Canal d'Orleans. Good access and sufficiently large pitches. Friendly staff. Communication in English possible. Barrier closed between 12 and 3 pm. The baker comes every morning at 8am with fresh bread. Good starting point for cycling. Cycle paths directly along the canal and the Loire.

Mooie, rustige kleine camping nabij de Loire
Full name: camping municipal** Les Pâtures. Ideal en rustige doorreiscamping, maar ook om er enige tijd te verblijven en van de omgeving te genieten (o.a. fietsen/wandelen). 34 (schaduw-/halfschaduw-)plaatsen waarvan 28 met "comfort caravan" (water en elektriciteit). Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam beheerders... echtpaar. Terrein wordt professioneel onderhouden; sanitaire voorzieningen, gescheiden Dames/Heren, zijn compleet aanwezig (o.a.heerlijke douches).Niet het allermodernste, maar alles is brandschoon.Wordt dagelijks grondig schoongemaakt (ook in voorseizoen!) Wij waren er er begin juni en eind juni en het was er in de late namiddag beide keren 'vol', dus vooraf reserveren is wel nodig, tenzij je vroeg in de middag arriveert misschien. De kampeerplekken zijn voldoende groot (ca.70-90m2) en met hagen van elkaar gescheiden. Aparte voorzieningen voor campers/mobilcars. Wifi is gratis en er is goed bereik niet al te ver van de receptie. Prijs-/kwaliteit is zeer goed: € 17,90/nacht voor 2 pp. De camping is goed bereikbaar vanaf het regionale/nationale wegennet. Kortom, een fijne, kleine en rustige camping om uitgerust en wel verder te reizen of langer te verblijven. A fine, surprising place!
Very nice reception! Good ground for tents. Very quiet at night! Located right on the Loire. Croissant service. Very close to the town. Other sites in the area were full, here there was space and it couldn't have been better, at a great price. Very clean, good sanitary facilities!

Camping directly on the Loire
Nice municipal campsite on the edge of the village 50 m from the Loire. There is a canoe landing stage 200 m away. The shops/restaurants in the village are just under 1 km away. It is very quiet on the parceled-out site. The baker arrives shortly after 8 am and brings fresh baquettes, croissants and pain au chocolat. Orleans is within cycling distance.

Caution! detailed ... As other campsites around Orleans were full, we luckily ended up here. The two operators of the campsite are very nice and try to cater to all wishes. The pitches are parceled out but large enough and mostly shaded by old trees. There are 4 ladies' toilets with toilet seats (don't... forget the toilet paper) and 3 men's toilets + 3 pissoires, 4 ladies' showers and a separate room for washing and washbasins. 4 men's showers. Sinks for washing clothes and sinks with hot water are sufficiently available. Washing machine (4€) + dryer (1€) available In the morning at 8 o'clock a bakery car comes with baguettes (0,90€)Croissants (1€) There is a children's playground and a soccer field + TT-plate Unfortunately there is neither a restaurant / snack bar nor a kiosk But Checy is not far. We paid 19 € for the 1st night incl. caravan incl. car water and electricity for 2 p in the HS. From the 2nd night only 17,50 € + 0,20 € p/p tax The CP is a nice starting point for a tour to Orleans or along the Loire We would love to come back.

Orleans is within easy reach, and several Loire castles are also not far away.
Good campsite for visiting Orleans.
Very friendly staff, you can also get by with English. The bakery car comes early with fresh baguettes and other pastries. We were very satisfied. Each pitch has electricity and water, pitches are shaded and parceled out.

Orleans within reach
The campsite is beautifully laid out, clean and well-kept. The pitches are atypical for France. However, they are large enough. The site is frequented by people passing through and short breaks but is very quiet. It is ideal for a visit to Orleans. You can easily cycle into the city along the banks of the Loire. The banks of the Orleans Canal are also idyllic and well worth a stroll.
